Surprise it actually fits. Love the fit and I’m a fan of AE. I didn’t get to take an actual pic of me in the short but eventually I will and post. But This I post I’m in the short that you can hardly see lol and the top is also AE got it last year.

So far these have been the best ones I ever bought at AE. The past several years I always look for denim shorts at AE, and most of fits too loose on the waist. Overall these ones I bought fit perfectly fine on the waist, and I would totally recommend them for anyone.

The shorts are comfy in that they stretch and are not too tight across the hips. This is the first pair of jean shorts that my son has worn in years, so they must be super comfortable. Otherwise, they'd be in the return pile in a minute. The color is great and will match with almost anything, and they're not too short or too long.
