my husband wears a 33 in jeans ans i got him the 34 belt and he is on the biggest hole. i know you should always go up one size for a belt but this seems slightly small to me compared to others. but AE belts are great. The last one lasted for about 4 years before the hole broke. For $18 thats pretty great

I bought my son this belt a few years ago and he wears it 5 days a week for work and it has held up well just the buckle hole is worn so I bought him a new one of the same kind since it lasts so well. Perfect for dress up or everyday wear.

Held up for over 10 years. Sill going strong

I bought a similar one of these belts back in high school in 2007. The first one lasted about 4 years and I ended up losing it unfortunately. The second one has lasted me since 2013 and still holding strong. I moved up from a 34 waist to a 38 and might need to get a bigger belt here soon. The leather is great quality and able to take the abuse of everyday wear. I worked hard blue collar jobs the past 10 years after getting out of the Army and this belt held up. Im in my 30s now so I really don’t wear AE cloths anymore but one thing I know I will buy and get my money’s worth is their leather belts. I will be buying a slightly bigger one here soon.

it’s cute. i didn’t realize how weird belts are built, i assumed the bigger size would just mean more left over you know what i mean. but it was way too big and i didn’t want to punch a hole in it so i ended up returning it. but it’s well manufactured and actually a really good belt. i should’ve just went into the actual store for it though.

I have started a belt collection and i’ve had a couple belts from AE before and i’ve loved them. They last a very long time and i’ve had one for a couple years and recently came upon a brown belt that I really like.

way smaller than recommendation indicates

I ordered one size up from the waist/pants size as recomennded in the size/fit description and received a belt a child might wear. I usually wear a 28 and ordered a 30 and it was about 5 inches too small. Even lying flat it doesnt fit the whole way around my pants.
