SMOOTHEZ No Show Thong Underwear

I’ve been looking for a seamless underwear for my workouts. the fabric is comfortable but these wear so low and just come off small.

Sizing is inconsistent. I bought a size medium in two different colours and they don't fit the same. Comfortable material though. But disappointed I wasted money on what I thought was my size.

I never leave reviews, but I bought a couple pairs of these and now i'm stuck with them. They are cut so low and ride up at the same time. Do not reccommend buying.

the small fits like a large. i would size down or else theyre loose and slipping around. i cant even wear mine

these were great initially, but they slide down really easily, and after a couple months the inseam gets undone.

I’ve been on a journey of trying out thongs after mostly being a boybrief / boyshort type of person and I figured leaving some reviews could help others like me. So, the smoothez no-show: the only positive thing I can really say about these is the texture of the fabric. I’d say it’s true to the name; they are smooth and soft (and very very lightweight). I mostly prefer cotton, but with the mess of cotton blends out there these days I figured I’d try out other fabrics, too. Aerie’s cotton has gone way downhill as we all know by now. I wouldn’t be surprised if the smoothez line used to be softer and smoother, as all fast fashion has gone downhill. That said, I never got to try any older iterations of this fabric so I wouldn’t personally know. It feels good to me. Fabric handfeel aside, I’m sad to say I’ll likely be trashing all of these. I tried. Being relatively new to thongs and actually realizing they can be comfortable, but sometimes require adjustment to get them in place, I tried and tried and tried with these. My biggest qualm with thongs is a ridiculously narrow gusset, which is exactly what you get here. The frontal wedgie is intolerable for me. Then you have the seam running directly up the back. Just…why? Maybe it’s an attempt to have them stay in place better but all it gives is irritation. Like just about all of the no-shows I’ve tried, the raw cut edges do their job if they lay completely flat. Good luck with that. It will require constant adjustment. So, on one hand, these could maybe do the job they claim to do. They’re tiny (shape-wise; I don’t think they run small due to how much stretch they have…for reference, I am very petite, match the size chart for xxs but always order undies in xs, and these were not at all tight in the body; it’s just the nearly non-existent gusset), offer very little front coverage, are low rise, and when they are laid flat won’t show VPL. On the other hand, they are generally uncomfortable, don’t stay in place, and all of the qualities they have designed to make them no-show each come with a drawback. And, of course, as most fast fasbion these days, the construction leaves a lot to be desired. Loose threads, and that gusset looks like it would easily tear away from the rest of the fabric. In fact, due to how thin the whole thing is, I’d imagine rips and holes could easily happen. I would not put these in the dryer. Good concept, poor execution. That said, I’ve yet to find a no-show from any brand thay really performs as it should, let alone is comfortable. VS no-shows are now made of the scratchiest fabric I can imagine so these definitely have a better-feeling fabric, but again, that feel is where the positives end for me. Thongs can be comfy, folks. I’ve been a fan of ae undies for years and wont stop purchasing as most of their products are great, but these were a miss. They roll down constantly.

I’ve only worn ae undies foe years and style has changed….way smaller than it used to be. I’m 5’4 and 125lbs and the size medium were so tiny on. Dissapointed!

these were way to big. felt like they were going to slide right off me. also very small in the front everything was like showing. but they were no show so i guess thats a plus. def size down if i was buying again

the material is really nice however i find the actual crotch part of the underwear is very small and makes it extremely uncomforable. would not recommend.

These did not work for me. They are extremely low cut so accentuate any stomach pooch that you have. They feel like they are skipping down all the time.

The fabric is nice but it is not true to size. I bought a large, and I was surprised at how small it was when I took it out of the bag. I compared it to a large Seamless thong from target and it was smaller in every aspect

I have been ordering underwear from aerie for years, these being one of my favorites and the last two times I have ordered I have been very disappointed in the quality. I’m not sure why they changed the cut and measurements of these, but they are now way too small. They slide down all day long, making them just annoying to wear.

I used to LOVE this underwear. Now it is way too small in the crotch area, the front is superrrr low cut, and the stitching in the back is horribly irritating. I’ve tried washing and stretching them out and it’s no use. Theyre already pilling as well. Bring back the old design please!!!
