Super comfy

I bought this pantry a couple weeks ago and I love it! Boy shorts can be hard to find but this one is it! It’s super comfy and doesn’t ride up. It hides well under jeans and yoga pants. It’s just cute! I would definitely recommend.

super comfy to lounge around in originally bought the black and gray pair. Once I wore them I knew they would sell out quick so I had to get more before they were all gone! Only buy AE pamties and these are my fav (im extremely picky) i wear a 12 to 14 in pants depending on stretch and I buy XL boyshorts and XXL thongs and they are mostly always on point.

i sized up because some reviews said these ran small, so glad i did! the fabric is so soft and the size i got fits perfectly. not too tight, not too loose. i usually wear a small and i got a medium!

Comfy underwear shorts

Runs a size small in my opinion. I could tell by holding them up in store that I’d need to size up one. (The band seemed small). The size up fits perfectly and they’re very comfy. Im usually a small at aerie and got medium. Purchased two colors and will probably get more!

These are SO comfy, soft, flattering...but you must size up!! I usually wear small and luckily I saw these in store first and realized they are TINY. I got a medium and they're perfect.

listen… ive bought other brands boyshort style underwear before and they dug into my sides, had to get 3x the size i normally do just for them to fit comfortably. BUT…
THESE ARE PERFECT. i got my normal size, i put one pair on and theyre so soft, so comfy, and just well rounded. they just make my hips look so good. they do reach rught above my belly button so keep that in mind!

Fit is good and they are very soft. Great for wearing around the house and for bed.
However, they are very thin. If you have any sort of bush or tattoo, it will show trough on the lighter colors

why is waistband so tight?

these are so cute but run very small :( i ordered 2 pairs in my normal aerie size (medium) and the waistband is soo tight and uncomfortable that i will probably never wear them again. weird too because they fit fine in all other areas. unfortunately i didnt realize until i had already washed and worn them

fabric is very thin, so they're cute but don't expect them to be like insanely flattering. also i'm typically a 4 or M in a AE so I purchased a medium and the waistband digs in a lot, maybe it's because I have a shorter waist but probably will return and repurchase in an L because I have the matching top which I love and really want to make this set work LOL

Warning: Low quality

These are so soft, cute, and comfy. I had such high hopes. But literally within a couple hours of wearing them for the first time, a hole formed along one of the side seams. I sized up from my normal size in Aerie undies (L instead of M) and they’re a perfect fit, not tight at all - there’s no reason that should’ve happened. They’re just so thin and cheaply made. Aerie used to have such good quality and this is super disappointing.

Comfortable but not quality

I bought these and was very excited for them, when I tried them on I was disappointed to see they were horribly thin. You can see everything through them, my tattoos are clearly visible. They sit kind of weird because of this too, they ride up my thighs and squeeze my stomach. On the plus side, they’re comfortable when standing upright totally still.

Dramatic quality drop

I’ve been mostly buying AE cotton underwear for the past 6 years, and there’s been a dramatic quality drop lately. These are paper-thin, I can fully see my tattoos through them, and they feel incredibly cheap. The cotton is so thin that it sits weird with the thick, sturdy waist band to contrast. The gusset is also like half the length of a normal one. Everything about this was made with cutting costs in mind and it shows. If you have nails you could rip these without meaning to- they’re practically ready for the trash right out of the package. It feels like Halloween costume quality. AE has been such a staple brand and whatever they’re doing to cut costs lately isn’t working.

Super thin and cheap- what happened?

I got these as a 10 for $38 deal and if I’d paid any more for them I’d honestly be furious. I live worn AE cotton underwear for like 6 years because they’ve always been high-quality and comfortable. These are paper thin. I bought them in black and I can see my hand through them when I’m putting them on. My tattoos are visible through them. If you have nails at all you could easily puncture these.i get cutting costs, but I don’t understand the purpose of making underwear this cheap and flimsy in the first place. Straight out of the package they’re one step from the garbage can already. I tried the briefs that have this same look and they’re equally bad. I tried these on over a pair of AE underwear I bought last year and they’re literally half as heavy. They’re paper-thin.

After just one wash, they became a Weezer song. Just one thread…undone. I loved the look, just wish I could get either a replacement or a refund on an item I cant even wear.
