The band is SO soft, the lace is nice and stretchy and not itchy. I am a guy, and for any others looking into these, there is definitely enough room, and if you wore boxer briefs, these will feel very familiar to you fit wise. Kinda nice to have, and I will deff be getting more. :)

I bought two pair sized small and two in size medium. They fit equally as well with the medium being slightly looser in the thigh. I’m 5’8, 28” waist and 37.5” hips. Being fairly athletic, the hem at mid-thigh is less constricting (21” thighs), but both small and medium are doable. I love them!

Ive been looking for shorts/undies for under dresses and these are it! Coverage is great, everything stays in place, they arent too tight, and the colors & lace are way more fun than all the nude colored strangulation shorts oit there. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I got these for at home chill undies, however they’re way longer(I did not expect them to cover my upper thighs) than expected so I started using them for under skirts and dresses. And they are amazing ! They don’t roll up, you barely notice them so on hot days it’s really.. aerie hehe. But yes amazing will buy more already got 3 extra but I love them so much. Maybe a good thing to note, I bought 2 sizes just to be sure a M &S . They do run big I can wear the M but the band is a bit loose the s is perfect, even for the girls with bigger booty’s and smaller waists🫶🏻🙏🏻

I got these to wear as bike shorts under dresses to prevent chaffing and they are INCREDIBLE. I wore them out while traveling in a tropical place with a very hot humid climate, and they performed so well. They stayed up without having to be adjusted, the legs didn’t roll up at all. The lace is also perfectly soft against your skin. I usually wear either and L or an XL but the L worked better to fit snugly enough to stay in place but not be constricting. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I am a size 14 in jeans and usually wear an XL in aerie clothing. These shorts are great for under dresses or skirts. They are smooth and comfortable and don't compress too much and aren't see-through. I could have sized down and I have large thighs. One of the best items I have purchased from Aerie.

Love these! I got 2 pairs, one black and one tan and they are just what I was looking for. I wanted some cute lacy shorts to wear under skirts and dresses for coverage and anti-chafing. When my skirt inevitable flips up of if you just see the bottom edge of the shorts, I wanted a cute semi-sheer lacy looking shorts, but was struggling to find nice ones at a good price. Then I saw these. The material is smooth and super comfortable and the waist band is perfect! The shorts don't ride up or create awkward bulges on my legs or waist. LOVE and want more in fun colors!

hugs just right and the waistband is comfy on my big hips. Thigh length of shorts is good for dresses.

Love these shorts so much! Didn't think they were that stretchy so I ordered an XL but I def would've been okay with a Large. I'm a 34" waist with 49" hips & it was a bit big on the waist/: Got the matching bralette & it's suchhhhh a cute set!! Rating 4 stars only because I'm still upset they sent me used, dirty socks. *measurements & weight are accurate*

I like to wear bike shorts under skirts, but sometimes wearing underwear + bike shorts make them ride up. With these underwear you definetly do not have that problem. My only complaint is that it feels like you are going commando so it is a bit uncomfterable. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

The lace on the legs and the silky material on the waistband are buttery soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, the legs roll up anytime you walk around or crouch down (toddler mom here, so that's a pretty big downside). Quite a bit of static results from walking in the material as well, so if you are wearing the underwear under a flowy dress, expect the dress to stick to your legs. It's such a great concept and the material is so soft, but to the detriment of the function curvy women seek to have a no-fuss smoothing panty.

Aerie undies are consistently my absolute favorite. That being said, the fit on these was really disappointing. Per usual, the material and comfort are fantastic. It's a soft, stretchy floral lace-not scratchy at all- and a wide stretchy waistband. I bought these thinking they'd be great for chubrub. The fit is larger than expected. Unfortunately, the legs roll up. The waist is the ridiculous part. It's way too high, coming up all the way under my boobs and a solid six inches above my belly button. The waist is also too wide, with no taper compared to the hip. Ideally the legs would be an inch longer with a rubber/silicon strip to prevent ride-up and the waist six inches lower. I'm trying once more with a smaller size before writing these off completely, but hopefully AE Aerie will rework this design to improve the fit.

The seam right down the middle is very uncomfortable. Hoped to wear these under dresses but it was too uncomfortable.
