Aerie Cotton Boyshort Underwear

Very soft and breathable, but not quite full coverage enough at the bottom. I love the lace waistband, and find these otherwise comfortable. I'm keeping them, but probably won't buy more pairs.

I tried these out thinking maybe they'd have even more coverage than my favorite aerie boybriefs, and they do not have enough coverage for my preference. They ride up, causing uncomfortable wedgies. I'll stick with the boybriefs!

I dislike how all of Aerie's panties go half way up my butt. I was hoping these wouldn't do that because they are supposed to be more like shorts, right? They do. Half my butt is hanging out. They fit literally the same as boy breifs, just a tiny bit longer in the front maybe. And they are thin and kind of loose around the legs. Guess that's what happens what you have a small booty. If they were longer, I would love them.

I have 10 of these from a few years ago. Love them. I wanted to get a few more, but now they are super thin. Returning them.

Really hope you bring back the cotton style with the one inch lace around the legs. No lace/narrower lace means creep. Nothing beats the style of a year or so ago.

I'm 5'0 & 160 lbs. My waist measures 39, hips 43, and upper thigh where the leg holes should sit 24 1/2. I wanted these to fit properly sooo bad! So much so I ordered them twice, once in XL and a second time in XXL. The XL's fit was too small. I'm not sure where it goes wrong, but I tried sagging them and then tried pulling them up high nothing worked. Please keep in mind my butt isn't round but it sticks out a bit and I like no cheek panties. In XL (the size I normally wear) they rode up so much they might as well have been a thong. I then ordered the XXL hoping and praying that it would allow for my backside...alas it was still a no go. They offered more coverage but still crept up in the front and the back (I'm guessing because the leg and waist were a looser). Total bummer because I really love the look and feel of these.

I have some of their cotton boyshorts from a couple years ago, and they're awesome. I ordered some more recently, but found these to be different, in a bad way. For one, there's now a seam right down the middle of the crotch! I think they're sacrificing comfort for some kind of manufacturing reason. They're uncomfortable. I wish they'd go back to the original design.

So I got a bunch of these panties last year in 2019 for Christmas. I’d seen them online and fell in love with them. The crotch is ridiculously long and the legs are short. Aerie, seriously whose crotch is that long? Furthermore, who said yes to the final product when they look NOTHING like the picture. Sadly, I’m still wearing them. Highly uncomfortable but aerie doesn’t allow returns on washed items. I always wash my clothing before it goes in my closet. Where are all the other boyshort undies. These are normally your most comfortable panties. I really hope you’re not phasing them out. Back to this style in particular, they ride up, and are loose in the stomach area. Now I know several girls have said to size down, all well and good, but you shouldn’t have to buy your regular size and then find out you should’ve sized down. That’s just stupid! Aerie should be strict with the production of their products! Just do better...take pride in the products you sell!! Mind you, I read all the reviews before purchasing something. When These were purchased, they only had a few reviews and they were positive.

I have never had a product that I have been disappointed in from Aerie until I ordered these boyshorts. The little piece of fabric that covers the inside of the crotch is bigger than the crotch itself, giving you the worst front wedgie you've ever had in your life. I returned these immediately.

I am so disappointed in these. They do not have the longer leg seam as shown. The crotch seam is longer than the leg, making them ride up uncomfortably. They are more of a cheeky boy short than a short style boy short. I am so bummed because the picture shows exactly what I wanted.

I was disappointed when I tried these on. The seam is down the middle, causing the underwear to ride up and cause wedgies, as well as creating that unwarranted “cheek peek” that was intended to be avoided. Noting what other reviewers have said, I don’t believe going one size down will solve this issue for me. Also, XL does NOT look like the shorts in the photos, though I’m sure they use the smaller sizes for their pictures. Regardless, if all the sizes were actually shorts with the longer leg inseam, it would have likely made a difference in comfort. Instead, the XL boy shorts I ordered all have longer crotch areas than leg inseams.

The middle is constantly riding up my crotch and it is incredibly irritating. I wish they put the seams on the sides otherwise I would love them but all aerie boyshorts have the seam through the crotch

I own many pairs of a similar model of black Aerie boyshort (with lace at the leg openings), but these are definitely not as good. There is significant cheek peek even though the fit is right everywhere else. I find myself frequently pulling them down over my butt during the day because they constantly ride up. I love my other black Aerie boyshorts, but these will probably end up at the bottom of my drawer.
