i was a little hesitant reading the reviews: sizing running large & fabric downgrades over time being prominent complaints. i can't really testify to the over time, this is my first pair from aerie, but i think i will be buying more! the coverage is great, just what i was hoping for, super comfy both in fit and fabric. if this is the downgrade, boy o boy do i wish i could know what it used to be, because this is a solid cotton pair. when i got the pair, i did think it looked big, but it measures in the waist just the same as my other pairs from other brands. if anything, it does run a little large in the actual body of the article of clothing, but i do feel like this helps to alleviate vpl and allows some extra stretch and comfort. while impressed as i am, i cannot testify to how well they'll hold up over time, and i also don't think these are top-of-the-line, unlike anything else on the market. they're good! i like them, i'll wear them, i'll recommend them, but i also wasn't wowed. i got what i expected, and what i paid for. i'm very pleased, and definitely looking forward to more cute cotton designs to bundle! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

These panties are perfect in most aspects. It gives good coverage, isn’t too thin, and is breathable since it’s cotton. I tried these on under my leggings and you couldn’t see panty lines at all!! Now I don’t have to wear thongs with leggings. I just wish aerie would make a mid rise or high rise cotton boybrief though!!

Aerie! Come on! Aerie used to be my go to!! I only purchased underwear from area. My go-to was the seamless boy briefs but I loved the cotton ones as well!!! Now the waist is sky high, the band is thick and rolls down, the cotton ones are tight and ill-fitted and the quality is terrible!!! Bring back the old aerie styles and fabrics please!!!

I Have been buying Aeries panties for years for myself and my daughter and this is the CHEAPEST crap I have ever purchased!!! The quality is so poor I may as well of purchased panties from the dollar store! I am loosing my faith in Aeire.

So these replace the old boy briefs which were my holy grail fave underwear. And I do not like these! The old kind had non binding thick lining around the legs which did not cut into your butt or show lines under clothes. They’ve now replaced that with tight elastic bands at the legs which dig in and DEF show under leggings and clothes. Ugh hate. I guess I have to look elsewhere now.
