Aerie Free Spirit Ribbed Tank Top

This is definitely going to be my go-to tank year round. Great for layering in the fall/winter, but definitely comfortable and flattering to wear on its own. Buy multiple colors if you can. You can feel the durability in the ribbing and thickness of the material. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

This tank was better than expected! The quality of the fabric is really nice - thick but soft and stretchy. It has a raw hem cut, which is nice because I can cut it to the length I want. I read some reviews that you can wear this braless, but in my case, there is definitely some nippage peaking through. My only wish is that there was extra lining at the chest area, or there was a shelf bra so that I could go braless with this top since it's hard to find the right bra for this style! For sizing, I'm normally an XS in bras and an XXS in Aerie tops. I'm a 32c, 4'11" and 90lbs, and I got bot the XXS and XS. Both fit, but the XS is more relaxed fit and longer on me. I'm going to keep the XXS instead - it fits more snug and lands below my belly button. I might end up cutting it so it's more of a cropped look on me! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I bought it in the vintage vanilla to start and stalked the websites for weeks so I could order in more colors! The light blue color is super cute as well and the white isn’t see through. It’s also not too cropped and you can wear just about any racer back bra with them!

Soft, thick material and thick ribbing on the straps really sets this tank apart for me. It looks and feels higher quality than a similar looking one you might get somewhere else. Indigo Nightfall is the same blueish gray they show in the photos. These tank tops are the best purchase I have ever made from Aerie. They are high quality and very comfortable. I initially ordered two colors but purchased two more because I love them so much. They are AMAZING casual tank tops that can be worn with anything.

Love this top! It's the perfect length, cropped but not too short, looks great with high-waisted jeans or leggings. Fits true to size and the material is reasonably thick (I got the white and it's just the tiniest bit sheer). Planning to buy more colors!

I am a 36D with a 30inch waist and 42inch hips. I wear a medium in these tops and they fit great. They hit right at my waist, and provide enough coverage that I don't feel like I'm wearing a belly shirt. I have these tops in 5 different colors and wear them almost daily. Love the fit of this. I’m petite (5’0”, 100lbs), but have a little bit of a larger bust (34B). I sized up a little larger than usual, which I’m glad because I feel this fits perfectly, just eveeeeerrrr so slightly larger. Probably a few stints in the dryer can shrink it just a tad to make it perfect. Love the ashy green color! Material is a little thicker than expected, but still alright with it. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I ordered a few colors of this shirt but ended up returning them all. The length was decent, not being extremely cropped which I prefer, the cut is flattering, and the colors are very nice and neutral but different, and the fabric of the body of the shirt does feel sturdy.... But, the straps were very thick, where the thicker material is doubled over, and for me this made the shirt feel binding and uncomfortable. I feel like it runs smaller than other xxs, and the material felt very tight and binding not only on the neck but through the entire top. I may have considered trying a larger size, but that will not change how thick the straps are. They are cute but I wanted it to be comfortable as well. #AEReviewSweepsEntry
