Aerie Distressed V-Neck Boyfriend T-Shirt

This shirt is so comfy and very cute. I love the Jupiter Brown color! The v-neck goes out a little farther on my shoulders than I would like. I read that it runs large so I sized down to an XS (I usually wear a S) and it's perfect. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I love this shirt, it’s soft and comfortable. I wear my shirts baggy and this is oversized and fits the bill. I ordered a small as the reviews said they ran large, it’s fine except since it’s a v neck it tends to slide towards the ends of my shoulders but not so that it comes off my shoulders.

I have this tee in green, black, pink, and gray. I typically wear a size medium and sometimes size up to a large if I want my tee to be larger so I can front tuck it. This tee is so oversized, I sized down to a small and I'm SO THANKFUL I did. All the colors fit a little differently, which I find a little strange, but I still like them. The green is a pretty, soft, muted green, the grey is soft and muted as well and so is the black. The black is pretty faded looking. The pink is kind of see through, so just be aware. There is some distressing on them and they are on the thinner side which will be good for summer. Make sure you like the look of the bra strap you are wearing under the tee because it will definitely show with the huge v-neck. I recommend buying a bralette to go under them... the Aerie ones are beautiful and comfortable. I would also recommend waiting to catch these tees on sale or purchasing them when you have a promo code. They are a little pricey for thin, slouchy, faded tees in my opinion. I took a star off for the price vs. the quality. So far, they have washed well. I do really like them overall and I would buy more.

I ordered 3 others before this one and same size and they all fit good, but for some reason this particular one was so big I unfortunately had to return it. I so wished it fit because I really liked the color

I like the quality of the shirts. Aerie always make really nice things. The sizing is where I messed up. I should have payed more attention to the product name "boyfriend" because in my past experience when it has that description, there not joking. I wear small in most shirts and sometime mediums, in the past when I've gotten this style of shirt I've always had to size down my order to XS. hen I opened up my order, I found that the small I normally wear was way to big. At that point it would be better used as a coverup or night shirt.

This is definitely an oversized tshirt, as it is stated to be Boyfriend style. I was looking for that so I wasn't surprised, but due to the rather large V neck I wished I'd sized down - as it tends to become a one shoulder style on me. I am still quite happy with the purchase and would get it in more colours, but would go for a size Small instead of my usual Med.

I love AE tee shirts, but their sizing is always so crazy! I bought 2 tee shirts (this one and the Aerie Distressed Crewneck T-Shirt), and this style runs 2 sizes bigger than my normal size, while the other runs 2 sizes smaller than my normal size. I ended up doing an exchange to get each shirt in the opposite size. I like the distressed dye job, it's not messy or ratty, just looks a bit lived in and less like it is fresh from the t-shirt factory. The sleeves are overly long in my opinion, and go nearly to my elbows. However, the shirt ifsreally comfortable so I'm not going to bother returning it.

I love the fabric of these tees! It’s soft, light, and breathable! I have a large bust but small rib cage so I always get a medium in tops to make sure there’s enough room in the chest area, but, I definitely could’ve gotten a small and still had room!

Love this top! Great for bike shorts and to knot! Runs large. I loved the way small fit, bit even XXS was good! Not to loose with either size and hung nicely!

This tshirt is so comfortable and soft.

I bought two of these. Definitely oversized, soft and mostly what I was looking for. The only thing I don't love is the drop sleeve hem. It just feels weird on for some reason.

This is comfy, but you need to size down as it is very oversized. Down size is you have to wash separate and says color may fade over time too.

I love the oversized fit of this shirt. The color is nice too.

I’m usually between an xs and small, but ordered an xxs. It still fits like a size large on me, but it’s not as sloppy baggy as if I were to order my normal size. I’m hopeful that it will shrink slightly once washed and dried, if so it will be perfect. The Maplewood color and the green don’t look like the pictures. The Maplewood is a dusty purple and the green is lighter. The white isn’t see through and the black is a normal black. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Not super flattering but good to wear around the house

I usually get the cropped boyfriend t’s in a M but I wanted to try this style. It’s HUGE! I suggest tying it up or knotting it in the front. I tried to do a front tuck and that works too! Next time I get this style I will probably size down to a small. Overall I love the shirt though and I Love the color!

Normally a L and decided to order L thinking it would be oversized by a bit, more like a mens L. It fits like an XXL. I drown in the shirt, I'm currently 8 months pregnant and still have a TON of room. Fabric is soft and comfortable. If you want it to be a bit over sized, Size down!

These Ts are so comfy and soft. You can dress up or super down and they look great.

This shirt is definitely oversized, so I would recommend ordering down 1 size (I am typically a L in AE and ordered a M) and it will still fit oversized without being too much. I could probably get away with a S but I wanted it to fit oversized. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Bought this because Aerie’s t’s are lightweight, all cotton & perfect to throw on if you’re in a rush! Throw a cardigan on w/it & it dresses it up a bit!!

Super soft. Perfect oversized fit. Only complaint is the V wasn’t deep enough, more like a v shape crew neck. I would have preferred it to have been a crew neck.
