The Aerie boyfriend tees are the only thing I want from Aerie on a regular basis. I hate that they are never in the store. Aerie makes the best basic cotton tees that are perfect for lounging and hold up really well. They used to have more colors, which was nice. I hope they start carrying these items regularly in the stores again.

The Best of ALL the Boyfriends! Hands Down

The BASIC boyfriend is by far the best of all the boyfriend T’s and is my GO-TO plain T staple. I wish Aerie would stop trying to reinvent this wheel and just add new colors to this SKU instead. No raw/open hems (which means no rollover), just slightly distressed so it can easily be worn both at and outside of work, and there is no deep plunge in the neckline (us big chested girls can sometimes find those V-necks hard to wear). They do run large in size, but that is to be expected from any boyfriend style. I’ve found that a S(standard look and feel) or a M(oversized) works best for me! 5’5 160-165 for reference. PLEASE AERIE! BRING MORE COLORS TO THE BEST BASIC BOYFRIEND T LINE!

l ordered this because i was looking for oversized gym shirts and this it IT. so soft and lightweight but not see through. i usually order a L/XL but i sized up. it hits at the perfext spot so you can still tell you’re wearing pants. i have also worn it with leggings and jeans. just a great comfy and versatile shirt!
