I’m 5’10” so high waisted swimsuits don’t always come up high enough on me. The fit on these bottoms is amazing. Covers my curvy buns and hips, and I LOVE the crossover waistband. Also, since it’s black, it’ll be easy to find coordinating tops; perfect for mix and match.

I am 130 lbs 5’5 and mom of 2. I haven’t bought a 2 piece in years, not necessarily because of a mom bod, but mostly bc In my 34 years I just want comfort mixed with cuteness. These bottoms are SO COMFY. Perfect coverage in the back, I do think thongs and “cheeky” bottoms are too revealing and tacky. These are the perfect high waisted bottoms! I prefer these to the high cut ones because it doesn’t squeeze the hip area and shows just enough cheek to feel sexy but not exposed. The crossover effect in the front elongates my torso. It is perfect for those days you are feeling a bit bloated. My new go to bottoms!

I usually wear a size 12 jeans so I got an XL- these feel so comfy and fit great! I don’t have much of a butt and they still fit great. 100% would recommend! I’m 7 months postpartum and haven’t felt this hot in a long time!

Love love love these. Not as diaper-ish looking as some other high waisted ruched bottoms I have tried in the past. Don’t feel over exposed on my back end and a great way to switch out tops. Usually wear a size 12-14 jeans.

I haven't shopped at AE in years, but I was looking for a new bathing suit and found these bottoms. They are amazing! I a mom of 4 and didn't want anything too cheeky and preferred a higher waist(but not old lady-ish). These bottoms checked all the boxes. They are high waist but not too high and the cross front is a cute detail. They are not super tight around the waist that I feel I am suffocating and coverage in the back is exactly what I wanted. I bought both a M and L and kept the Medium. The large would have been too saggy once they got wet I think. I haven't worn them to the beach/pool yet or washed them but they seem like good quality. I bought 2 pairs so I have a backup just in case. I wish they came in more colors! For reference I am 5'6", 155lbs.

I haven’t owned a bathing suit in 3 years. It’s been hard to find one that I feel comfortable in. I gained some weight after chemotherapy and I’ve been self conscious ever since. I actually couldn’t believe how well these fit and how for the fits time in 3 years I don’t feel the need to wear shorts to swim in. I am not here for the cheeky/cheekier styles, so when I saw a full coverage AND on-trend high-waisted bottom, I had to try it out. This is now my favorite high-waisted bikini bottom! It is so soft, adequately covers my backside, hugs my waistline, and very forgiving if you're worried about your middle area. I'm 5'1 and the V cut still covers my belly button (which I like). I'm excited to hunt for a cute top to go with this.
