bought this because i love red. this is more of a warm/orange toned red than a true red or a cool red so i wont be keeping. built nicely, i probably bought the wrong size and it ended up being too small. the material is pretty stiff and not soft.

Not a fan, these would be much better with a ribbed material. They do run small & the sz up is too big. They don't lay flat on your body which drove me crazy. The pinkish color is see through and u can see the removable pads. I just wasn't sold and sadly returned.

Aerie swimwear used to be much higher in quality. Unfortunately, the band at the bottom of this top doesn't stretch, which makes it tight and uncomfortable. I ordered my usual medium, and while it fits true to size, I wouldn't recommend it if you're in need of more support either. Overall, this top was disappointing.

I’m really sad that I have to give Aerie a 1 star for this top, and honestly for a lot of their other bikinis this season. It seems they’ve fallen into step with so many other brands that exclude a large portion of their fans/customers. Usually Aerie is one of my go tos for a new suit but after buying nearly $500 worth of bikinis this year I’m returning all but one set. This top specifically was so disappointing. Normally an XL fits a little loose and comfortable on me, but this top had no stretch which made the seams incredibly uncomfortable and I could barely get it over my shoulders and around my chest. It felt like I put on a childrens bathing suit top…really disappointed and feeling super discouraged about this summer.

I followed the rest of the reviews’ advice and sized up but the arm straps are so small and there just isnt a lot of give. I’m not sure what is going on this season with their swimsuits (even last year), but the quality has really gone down hill. This used to be my go-to for swimsuits but I guess I need to look elsewhere

Everything about this item was off. I ordered a size up because I thought it would be small. This top was 2 sizes too small with the straps being very unforgiving. Not only is the sizing off, but the quality is very poor. The fabric is cheap and comparable to Shein quality. American Eagle is going downhill and I highly recommend against ordering this product.

I should’ve heeded the advice from other reviews - the armpits are TIGHT! It’s the weirdest fitting bikini top I’ve maybe ever put on, and I was so excited to have one with more coverage that would allow me to chase my toddler on the beach this summer. I also am usually a M and ordered an XL which is tight on me, so the sizing is pretty insane too.

I have so many Arie bathing suits from prevous years that I love and have never had any issues with. I read the reviews and sized up and the straps are so short and the sizing is way off. the xl fits like a medium. Ill be returning to item.
