Aerie Bandeau Bikini Top

This bandeau top is so cute. It is a little thick for my liking but overall very cute. Material is so soft #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I ordered two of these, one in black and one in the vertical colorful stripes. The striped one fit fine but the black one was smaller compared to it even thought they were the same size. Lots of underboob. Not very flattering.

I love the look and style. Straps come with it but looks better without them. It stays up well. I ordered my usually size, XS, but it was a bit tight. i suggest going up a size. i will be returning it for a small. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

This swimsuit provides soooo much support!! To say the least, my chest is pretty small but I feel 100% comfortable going out into the waves wearing this and trusting that it won’t slip. It’s relatively wide too so I don’t feel as exposed. The only thing is that the color is DEFINITELY not the bright blue from the photo. It’s more like a cornflower blue. Still pretty, just a lot more dull and not what I was expecting.

Really cute, and especially like the colour (Burgundy). I always wear a M in Aerie bikini tops but decided to size down because while the M did fit, I knew that when it got wet it would loosen up a bit. Also keep in mind that the band depth definitely gets smaller (less coverage) going from M to S, but that didn't bother me because I have a smaller chest anyways. This suit is super cute! the straps go on well and seamlessly if you want to wear them. Its super high quality and comfortable. Only thing is the blue is not as vibrant as it look sin the picture its more of a periwinkle blue color. Overall though its a great deal and as long as your day with the color difference its a great top.

Comes with straps but aren't needed, it is so comfortable and will defiantly hold up without the straps. Love the color and the fit. Could have gotten a size medium, but large is alright and not too big!

The band was ok almost to too large. I am a 32 DDD and the width was too small for my comfort. No support. Will try another style. This was a miss for me.

I would recommend sizing up on this top as it fits smaller than other aerie bikini tops. I’m a 34B & ordered a size small but definitely could’ve gone w the medium! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

This is a cute top but sadly it fell apart after only the second time I wore it. AE shipped me out a second one at no charge so we shall see how that one holds up.

I bought this top specifically for tanning and I guess it works. It’s very unsupportive and not at all flattering. It does leave skin exposed for tanning so I guess it not a total bust #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I bought the black this year since I got the white two years ago and LIVED in it. They made changes to the strap holders on the top that hurt and scratch the skin. The look and support is great. Makes it uncomfortable to wear, especially when you put the straps on

I have 32G breasts and, while I love and accept them, aerie sure doesn't. After trying on pretty much every single aerie swim top in M, L, and XL, I've finally accepted that aerie just doesn't have anything to offer me in the way of bras, bralettes, and swim tops. Usually I can make a bandeau top work for me, even if it means buying XL and taking it to a seamstress to shorten the band. Big nope for this one. It has the shallowest cups ever, even on the XL, which is wider and longer but not deeper in the cup than M. Also, the elastic around the bottom isn't any tighter than the elastic around the top. Really, aerie? My rib cage is the exact same size as my cleavage??? It needs to have a band on the bottom that actually supports the breasts. This is basic bra technology, people! Even in the M, the bottom band is so loose my underboob is bigger than my cleavage. I'm convinced that all the big breast blessed ladies wearing aerie suits on Instagram just put them on to sit very still and take pictures. Definitely not swim worthy. Please start making a D/DD size in your swim tops with deeper cups and fully adjustable band and straps. Other retailers have been doing it for years and I'll be shopping with them until you catch back up.

I'm a 32B, so according to the chart, I ordered a small. It felt very comfortable, but the top itself just kept falling down, probably due in part to my small cup. This probably isn't the best for my IBTC out there!

this top is so cute, and if you were an a-c cup i would 110% recommend. However I wear a size 34dd and there is little to no support, and whenever i tried to use the straps the attachment broke. if this hadn’t happened i would have probably tried to get a larger size or the longline bandeau. jumping/waves are not your friend in this top if you have a larger chest either, as it doesn’t quite cover all the boob surface area.

I’m a 34DD so ordering this was kind of just for fun, I didn’t expect it to fit great. I got a medium so it would be tighter around my bust but even on the tightest loop, it wasn’t as tight and secure as I’d like. I’d still be able to wear it but only with the straps. My cousin is a 34B and it looked amazing on her!

Upfront I’m returning this top. It fits great, feels like it’ll stay up. My issue is with the back clasp. It’s very flimsy. When I put the top on the clasp moved so I tried to straighten it..and my top went flying off because the clasp came undone by me trying to straighten it out. Luckily I was home in the bathroom..if it had a sturdy clasp that would stay in place I’d love it. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I was really excited to wear this suit, but I'm 6' and it looks more like the censored bar that comes up on a TV screen than a bathing suit on me. It is very thin (width wise), and looked a bit awkward on my larger frame. If you're smaller, I wouldn't worry, but tall girls it might be better to go for the long line option! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Great piece for the price, material quality is good, top stays up. My dissatisfaction is because the plastic side supports built-in are uncomfortable on my skin.

I really loved the top when I first tried it on. It was perfect I thought. I’m a 36D I got a large. Anyway, after wearing it for a short amount of time I realized the top seam rolls really badly and will not stay in place, making the top look weird. Seems like a design flaw. Probably wouldn’t have kept if I knew this.

So disappointed in the fit of this top. I am a true size M in Aerie swim tops and barrettes but this was too loose for comfort. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I purchased a L & XL. In both I would definitely have a malfunction without the straps. If you are sitting down on the beach or taking a photo then you'll be just fine ;). I returned them both because they just didn't feel secure on me. :(

I purchased this top with the bottoms in the pic, in the bottoms I wear a medium, typically large or xl in tops since I am a 34dd. The cups are way too small but fits perfectly around me, where the xl is too big around me but the cups are perfect.

Loved the look of this top! The fit is true to size and the color was great at first. I wore it twice and the color faded on half of the suit. I made sure to put the suit in cold water and hand washed. Unfortunately, the color didn’t come back after trying gentle cycle in the washer as well.

I wanted to love this, but the seams hit in weird spots. Ended up sending back.

The bandeau didn’t stay up on its own and the straps were flimsy and could easily be slid off their clips. The pads showed in water which was very unappealing and they moved around a lot. The place where the straps connect was very scratchy. Would not recommend.

I was very excited about this suit. I wore it and felt extremely confident in it. It fit great, hugged my curves, and was very comfortable. That was until I washed it. I hand washed like the tag said, and the color completely faded from the suit. I am now left with a blotchy faded suit that looks like it has been washed one hundred times! Very disappointed since I have always loved Aerie and the quality of their products. I have emailed Aerie support to see if I can get my money back or a replacement.

I used the size chart to pick a size, should of went a size bigger then it says. Way to small
