definitely different than past years and not as quality. however, not as bad as others are making them seen. I’m usually an XL and they fit well. only negative is theyre not as high waisted as past ones have been they sit higher than a bikini but under the belly button

I love this bottom and have purchased in years past. This year, I agree with other recommendations to size up. I am normally a M in bottoms and purchased the M this year, and I am returning for a size L.

I do agree that I like the old styles better, however, I like this full coverage bottom better! The old ones looked more like a diaper. This has enough coverage but fits just right imo! I ordered my normal size (L) and it fits great.

I know the other reviewers said these fit very small, but I found they fit loose. I’m a size 10-12 (more often a 12) with around a 44-45” hip measurement and 31.5” waist and felt the large was a little too loose. They are the perfect amount of cheeky to me :) but I don’t feel like I’m going to fall out of it haha.

For starters, I'm 155lbs 5'6 and wear a 8 or 10 in AE jeans depending on the cut/style. My hips are about 40in and my waist is 30in. I have always loved these bottoms and buy at least 2 each year always in size M. I read the reviews before shopping for 2025 and decided to size up to L. The L fits just like the previous years M! I even tried on last years again and its nearly identical. That said, I do love this cut and will continue to buy it but I wish sizing was a little more consistent.

i thought these would fit the same as my old ribbed aerie crossover bottoms but they cut lower on the torso in a really unflattering way…i liked how the other ones covered the belly button and shaped your curves nicely. unfortunately i was over eager and ripped off the tags before putting on

i found the coverage in the front to be very minimal. definitely fit tighter than other swim bottoms i have ordered from aerie. material is nice and not see through. unfortunately i will be returning them

these bottoms are completely different than last year and im so disappointed! Thicker and less soft and run at least a size smaller. Took the tags off prematurely and unfortunately threw them right in the trash!

As other reviewers have mentioned, the fabric is less stretchy and there is less coverage on these bottoms compared to previous years. Bummed! Planning to return. I was such a fan of the old design. Please bring it back before the end of the summer, aerie!

i ordered all the sane suit sizes that i do every year but they made everything 2x smaller and changed the cuts so this years suits dont fit the same. please go back to the old styles and fit

i showed this black pair of bottoms next to one i have bought in the past. both mediums. the cut for the legs/thighs are WAY higher than in years past and the garmet is a few centimeters shorter from top to bottom. the fabric contains less elastane (2% less) than in years past creating less stretch. buyer beware the fit is different

i always want to love these because there are SO FEW full coverage options. The past few years have been a big miss for aerie swim. Does not seem body inclusive- this style rolls down on my mom bod and is so unflattering. i used to love shopping aerie for swim!

I hated how these looked on me, I have the black crossover bottoms from when they first came out they’re nothing like them in the worse way possible. These ones are cut so differently they’re not how they orginally were a few years ago. Aerie why did you change it? I even ordered a size up and it looked way too small on me. I’m 1000% returning this tomorrow I’m highly disappointed and no longer will be purchasing swimsuits from Aerie now.

I used to LOVE aerie bottoms and only bought from here- this new high waisted style is SO unflattering. the old bottoms had a higher cut with the high waist style and could only be found at Aerie- not sure why you would change something that was so good!

do NOT recommend!!! for the first time i am buying my bikini bottoms elsewhere. why did they get rid of the high cut high waisted bottoms? they were so flattering. aerie was pretty size and body inclusive but recently that no longer seems to be the case.

from a women who will always carry a little more weight in her stomach the crossover design is not made for us, it folds over on us and becomes unflattering! i miss the old style of high waisted bottoms it was much for flattering for us mid sized girlies!
