Bought this because I really prefer 3 inch shorts and wow, these definitely do not disappoint. They are very flattering, not too short, and I love the crossover look. Please make more of these in different colors!

I'm 5'4" but I always need to wear the short inseams at Aerie/AE so the 5 in bike shorts are way too long on my shorter legs! The Real Me Crossover waistband is so flattering and gives the illusion of that hourglass. Very flattering pair of bike shorts.

Okay, so I finally got my hands on the OFFLINE By Aerie Real Me Crossover 3 Bike Short, and honestly, I'm already obsessed. The "Real Me" fabric is no joke – it's that buttery soft material that feels like you're wearing absolutely nothing, but still gives you a really nice, gentle hug. I snagged them in classic black, which is so versatile and goes with absolutely everything in my closet. The 3-inch inseam is perfect for me; it's short enough to feel sporty and not restrictive at all, but still offers enough coverage that I feel comfortable wearing them out and about, not just for workouts.
The crossover waistband is definitely the standout feature. It sits just right on my hips, providing a really flattering and secure fit without digging in or feeling too tight. I was a little worried it might roll down, but it stays put like a dream, even during my more intense walks. Plus, it just looks so cute and adds a little something extra compared to your standard black bike short. I've already paired them with a comfy oversized tee for running errands and a bright-colored tank for a light workout, and they look and feel fantastic both ways. Seriously considering adding another pair in a different color to my collection – they're that good! I have recommended to all my family and friends. Trust me, you need these shorts!
