Didn’t love it

I ordered a small and if fit fine, but wasn’t super flattering on me. Also I thought the material was soft but looked kinda weird. Maybe I just got a messed up one. I ended up returning it!

Not for flatter busts

I purchased a medium and it was pretty tight fitting on my chest. I don’t have much of a bust (36a) either. It made me look like I had no curves. I had to return it.

More booty coverage wanted please!

I love aerie’s one piece bathing suits and so wanted one of them to work for me for modest coverage when swimming with the kids and family. Unfortunately, their full bottom coverage is far from that and half my booty shows. I would love to see aerie make the full coverage truly that, or at least make another option with even more booty coverage. Cute designs otherwise!

Cut suit just not for my body type. I have a short, “fluffy” mid section and this suit just us emphasized that! Just like boobs, mid, and butt all ran together! 34dd on top.

Bad fabric

This swimsuit is fairly flattering, but its fabric is too thin for my liking. Not only does the fabric easily sag in the butt, it is also so easy to see the padding. Everytime I put it on I have to spend 5 min adjusting it. Even after, I am self concious of whether or not people can see it. In my opinion, the fabric makes the swimsuit not worth 40$.

I bought this suit in green years ago and loved it. i decided to buy it in black and it is a completely different suit. The material was less stretchy and it no longer has a full coverage bottom. my expectation from full coverage is it covers your full butt. These were bikini cut at best cutting my butt cheeks in half and riding up constantly. This is bot the case with the suit I bought in 2020. Overall its fine but dont get it expexting full coverage bottoms

I wanted to like this bathing suit but it's not very flattering from the front. The back is cute but the front smooshes your boobs down. If you have any sort of tummy you look completely shapeless. I got it for a really cheap price. That's the only thing stopping me from returning it.

Long is not long enough

I have a long torso and love that AE swim carries long options on many of their styles (though I wish they would carry more). However, even in the long option, this was still not long enough for me. My chest was barely covered even when I pulled the suit up as much as possible (essentially giving myself a wedgie), and I would not feel comfortable wearing this out as I feel there would be high probability for a nip slip. I am sad as I loved the style of this and AE swimsuits are usually really good quality.

Broke after less than 10 wears

I bought this swimsuit last year, and initially I loved it! it’s super flattering, but unfortunately, I put it on today and the strap snapped off. I have worn it maybe 10 times since buying it, so it definitely should not have broken so easily. Extremely disappointed and will not be purchasing swimsuits from aerie again.

Bad elastics

I bought this last year. LOVED it right away, fit so well and was very flattering. However after one summer (and only a few wears) the elastic on the butt part is totally wrecked. I am so sad because I loved this bathing suit but it clearly doesn't hold up over time. My friend has the same one she bought a few years ago and hers is still going strong so not sure what changed. This is despite proper care (rinsing after chlorine/salt pools and hottubs, etc)
