these are so cute and flattering. i got them for the summer as an alternate to denim shorts and they are so comfortable and light. i’m usually a medium at aerie for bottoms but can sometimes fit into a small for looser fit items. i got a small and they fit well. they are a little flowy so i was able to size down.

I bought this as part of a set, but to be honest, I like the look of them separately. These shorts are very comfortable and a little bit oversized so I did sized down to an extra small and they fit perfectly. Great light weight, cute spring, and summer short.

these are super comfy. so soft. i dont think they run big as another reviewer suggested. im a size 6-8/27 in jeans, ordered a M & they fit great. perfect for lounging around the house, or could wear out because the length is great!

These shorts are so cute and light for summer! The waist is cute, and the braided tie adds a nice accent. I got the whole “eyelet blue” set- shorts, crochet strap tank and matching sweatshirt, and love it all! Subtracted 1 star because the material of the shorts is delicate and pulls easily.

These shorts are nice and light without being thin or seethrough. I like they are a bit longer, but I do find they run really big (as with a lot of aerie’s lounge shorts). I am a pretty consistent Large, but found these at least a size too big. I’ve returned for medium so hopefully those will fit better. The burgundy color is beautiful.

Ordered the blue and the material seemed pretty thin. I dont have much of a waist yet as I’m postpartum and my body holds excess weight breastfeeding. These shorts were lose and baggy and did nothing for my butt.

Terribly unflattering, even for lounge wear. The waist is true to size BUT the shorts are 4 times larger in leg/butt and the crotch is verrry low. Unless you have an XS waist w/ XXL bottom don't bother buying. I got XS and sized down from my usual S due to reviews, these are going back.
