The skirt was really nice and I think it’s a great addition to my wardrobe this spring, the stretch on the back is a little bit offputting but when you adjust it after you put it on, it doesn’t look so bad. Overall, it’s a really cute skirt! Super soft too!

Beautiful Spring Skirt, Makes Everyone Look Great

It was the first time I been to a mall since COVID, I use to go to the mall all the time beforehand but after COVID just didn’t feel the same. So for my birthday my mom took me to the mall. Now remember it’s been like 5 years since I been to a mall and my body has changed as I get older. I went to so many stores and tried on so many things but everything made me feel fat or just didn’t look right on me. I literally broke down crying, and mom bought me pretzel. Lol. Than I saw the American Eagle and Aerie store decided to give one store one more try. Thank the Lord I did, I found the cutest shirts and skirts! This skirt was so cute I had to buy it. It’s super light, flattering and comfortable it also made me look really good. I was so impressed I had to get it. It sits really comfortably at the hips and hits like middle of my shins. It’s so flowing and is the perfect light jean color to match everything in spring. Thank you so much. I feel so beautiful in it. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I’m nervous about long skirts because they don’t usually show off my hips, but this skirt has an elastic in the back which makes it sinch GREAT! its not too tight and its not heavy, its so soft and comfy and works with so many outfits!! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

A Simple Skirt

I purchased this skirt in the chambray color. I was looking for a chambray skirt in a simple style and this works. There is a subtle a-line cut to the skirt. I am normally between a small and a medium in skirts. I carry my weight in my hips and thighs so I have to “shimmy” it on, but once it is over the largest part of me, it fits well! It is only a struggle for a moment or two! Lol!

Different materials for different colors

I bought Monaco blue in Small and Blue (the denim color) in Medium. The Monaco blue is blue and white stripped 100% cotton and super lightweight. Feels nice but definitely see through. The Blue is a solid color with 100% Lyocell. It is a lot heavier material. It doesn't feel like it'd be breathable. Not see through because of the thickness.
The small I couldn't get up over my butt. Over my head I could and it fit my waist nice, but I don't want to pull a skirt over my head to wear it. So if you have some booty, the elastic waist not be enough in some sizes. I hold my weight in my bottom half.
