LOVE this bra

This bra literally changed my life as a large chested woman. It covers everything with no spillage, it stays in place all day, and doesn’t create back rolls. It definitely starts to hurt towards the end of the day, but I’ve never had a comfortable strapless bra so 🤷♀️

I absolutely love the way this bra feels. I especially like that there is no intense gripper on the bra that causes me to sweat. The smoothing compression around the body paired with the support of a soft underwire is such a win! It did not feel like a traditional, uncomfortable strapless bra. LOVE that it is unlined.

im happy i found a bra that will stay up but omg there is no padding but underwire? I have to use pasties under to stay discreet and the underwire is not the most comfortable.But this one actually stays up so I like it!

Boob fail

I am 51, 188 pounds, 5'9" tall. I bought this twice, and wouldn't have done so if I didn't love the Smoothez line.
My first attempt was in a 38C according to the size chart. It came, and even putting this on the smallest and tightest hook, it was too big. So I ordered it again, this time in 36C.
The 36C fits snugly on the loosest hook, so that leaves me nowhere to go if I gain the slightest bit (or have a bloated day).
But that's not the real cause of my dislike. This bra is so unflattering on me. I'm a bigger girl now than I was in my 30's & 40's, and the spillage over the top and sides is awful. And the cup size is correct, so that's not the issue.
There's no structure to this bra at all. I wasn't expecting much from the pictures, but I didn't realize how flimsy this is. So the extra boobage pushes the bra down and it just creates this weird "boob shelf". Lol.
As a former skinny girl (rail thin in my younger years), I think this bra would've been a keeper for me back then. But it does not "hold up" now. *cough cough, ahem*
I think it would be SO helpful if AE/Aerie matched intimates with certain clothing items they sell in a "suggested pairings" section, or just list the ideal intimates on the particular clothing item page. That would take some guesswork out! I bought this bra to go with a couple of tops I bought from AE. Guess I'll have to keep guessing!

so instead of adding grips to the top of the last version to make it stay up… you added a wire?!?
and i dont know about the rest of ya… but this girly needs padding (that tapers… no lines please) cause aint no one needs to tell how cold it is outside based on my bra type!

This was a good idea with terrible execution. A strapless that doesn't *look* like a strapless would have been the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe as opposed to having to wear a bandeau over a strapless, but this didn't work at all. I wear a 32DDD in Aerie bras, and that's the size I got. The fabric is very soft and feels nice against the skin, but those are the only good things I have to say about it. I could add that it felt like it would stay in place all day, but that's only because it compresses so much that there's no way it could fall. The band runs true, but the front of the bra cut across the tops of my boobs horribly, and it completely flattened me out while still causing spillage all along the top of the bra, especially near my armpits (you can kind of see this on the model but it looked worse in person). The fabric cups on the inside are way too small (width ok but not nearly enough cup volume), and they're too flimsy to counter the squeezing from the thicker outer fabric. I could never in a million years wear this outside (or even inside, that's how much I hate the way it looks on me).
If you have a smaller cup size or if compression is what you're going for, this might work for you. If not, I cannot recommend it.
Also, for anyone wondering about headlight visibility, they do show, even through the multiple layers of fabric, but that's to be expected with an unlined.
