Aerie Real Power Balconette Poppy Lace Bra

Okay, I can't speak highly enough of this bra. I am VERY picky about bras. I ordered the black initially and as soon as I tried it on, ordered the white. I had weight loss surgery so finding a bra that accommodates my chest (which has always been large) but also has enough support and stability to keep the excess skin from spilling out all over the place...GAME CHANGER!! Not only is it unbelievably flattering/doesn't push the ladies up until they hit your chin lol (my larger chested friends out there know this struggle!) The padding is butter soft and so comfy you can literally sleep in it. The white was only available in a 34D so I ordered that (the black was a 36D) and they honestly both work perfectly!! i really love this bra! the only thing i can see becoming an issue is that where the straps and the cup are attached with a little metal triangle can rub a little bit after a long day but other than that it’s super comfortable and flattering.

Bring back the Sterling Blue! They sold out before I knew this bra existed! ;A; Great industrial strength bra, tight back, forgiving cups, gathers boobs inwards from the outer edges. Cons: Bottom of the band is really tight! Fine when walking and moving but not very forgiving if you feel like slouching over since it'll dig into a rib. Might try putting some cuts into it to see if it adds some slack.

Cut/style fits my build well! Wide-set straps give nice support for my sideboob. Cons: Runs super small! 32DD fits like my 32D bras! And I'm pushing a DDD so there's spillage, but for some reason aerie doesn't make this bra in 30/32DDD. Pros: Cute, lined cups, nice cut, good color, fits like my old worn out 32Ds from aerie so I'll be keeping simply to retire those. Backsize is also small closer to 30" so for once it doesn't feel like it's sliding down my torso!

After reading the reviews i went one size up in the band size (usually I'm a 36C but sized up to 38C) and it fits really well!

The bra is beautiful and actually has good support for a balconette style. My only issue is the band size runs small. I have been professionally fitted and the band size for this bra is not accurate. Other than that I absolutely love it! I am a D cup and having a balconette style be supportive is a win!!

So, balconette bras are the best fitting bras for me and always have been. However, this little ''V'' piece thing that they put in the middle is just the WORST. It really destroys this otherwise awesome bra. Please Aerie, don't ever do this again, don't even think about adding this cute detail to your bras. Unless you have incredibly wide set breasts, do not buy this model. It's only going to poke the insides of your boobies. It HURTS! A lot. You actually have to ''replace'' your girls to spread them :S... I would suggest that you bring back the very first balconette model (around early 2020?). They were fantastic. I've been buying some newer ones, but none were as good. Thanks!

Good support but band runs small. Lace on top of cup is tacked down with couple stitches so puckers a bit and doesn’t lay flat as in oicture. Could also be because runs small compared to other 34D aerie bras.

Wear same size in multiple other aerie styles. This band is much smaller even on last hooks. Lace does not seem to lay flat on top and looks cheap compared to the pics online. Sizing up might help.

This does run small in the band - pretty solid 40D in Aerie bras and this was about a size too snug. I wasn't overly impressed with the comfort or support, either. The lace is pretty but that's about it.

I was shocked to see this bra in person. The coral sun color is pure neon. Like I think it would probably glow in the dark. It looks like a brighter pink online and nothing like it does in person. The matching underwear I got is the same neon. I think the fit might work on someone with smaller or wider set boobs but the V wire in the middle cuts into my boobs on each side. It was very uncomfortable and looks weird digging into my boobs like that. I couldn't get it to sit right no matter how I adjusted. It's cute in theory but it's a poor design in reality. Aerie usually doesn't disappoint but this is going back to the store asap.
