I purchased 2 pairs of the offline by Aerie real me crossover 3" bike shorts for my pre-teen daughter. She is very difficult to shop for when comes to leggings and shorts. I range between an 8 and 10 in AE pants and Aerie leggings. I would say these run small and to size up. As a short girly, these are my go to biker shorts to wear under baggy tshirts or sweatshirts - I do not think they are too short. very buttery soft material.

I love these shorts, so so so much, I have two pair. The only thing is that I wish they had more than one color. 😭 why only carry black?? everything else has many colors :( I still highly recommend them. The cross waist band is the best and I love that they are a 3in inseam cause I have really short legs and longer bike shorts look weird on me

I was afraid these were going to be too long but they were perfect!! So comfy, perfect for under dresses and lifting. Waist band cut doesnt have the intended affect imo because it was so high waisted. But they are still so good.

The shorts seemed way too small when first ordered but stretch so much and fit perfectly on! For reference I am 5’7” usually a size 0 or 2 and ordered an XS.
