I’ve purchased these for several seasons and last year they were smaller than usual. This year I sized up to an XXL and they are perfect! Length is great for a middle aged Mama - still cute without feeling like you’re showing too much. They don’t roll at the waist or ride up on the thighs. Not too tight and not baggy. I wore them on a cruise for an excursion that was very outdoorsy/active and I was NOT ready to rip them off 8 hours later when I got back to my cabin. Fabric is very soft as well.

Had my eye on these for months and am so glad I finally got around to ordering them! Based off the reviews I decided to size up and was probably a good call. I am 5'4 and 115lbs and the M fits comfortably with light compression, not too snug but also not loose. I think I could've been fine with the small but just depends on how much compression you want. The fabric is lightweight but a little thicker than the offline crossover shorts. Love the grey color!! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

The Hugger style is my favorite in the Aerie bike shorts and the leggings. The material is thicker and the quality is unmatched! I usually purchase when they are on sale and I just can’t beat the price. I purchased a Medium (5’6” 140lbs). I definitely recommend.

i like the feel to these shorts however they do fit small. i had to size up in these. they fit fine of you like a super compression. i have a black and grey pair that i wear all the time
