Aerie Daybreak Trouser Short

Almost time to wear these! Fit as expected, fabric soft and color is cute. Good length too.

I will firstly say I am curvy and not super thin and i also prefer a looser fit on elastic wait items for sensory reasons, so I did not size down like some other comments suggested. If I were smaller I could see them potentially sliding down a bit. Personally I wanted a wider, flowy shorts option that allows more breathing room. I am 5'5" and around 190 lbs and ordered an XL. These dont feel baggy at all, but maybe I will avoid putting heavy items in the pockets or wear a belt just in case. I ordered white and theyre not as sheer as I expected.

These remind me of shorts I owned in the early 90’s and that’s a great thing. They are 90’s inspired with a current fit and softness. I first bought them in the olive size medium. I could probably size down, but i prefer the oversized look and the extra length on my thighs. I stopped wearing shorts in my 30’s but have decided in my 50’s that anything goes as long as i find clothing I love so I also bought these in white size medium! AE and Aerie have the best selection of comfortable and affordable clothing.
