A little disappointed

I wear a medium in every legging I have from aerie, for some reason these are very tight. And they roll down when I sit down. I wish I didn’t take the tags off (was excited to wear them) because I wish I could return them. Only good thing is how deep the pockets are and they are soft.

Pocket Problems

First of all, these are extremely comfortable and I love wearing them. My main complaint is the pockets. The bottoms of them came undone within the first wear so the left pocket completely has no bottom and the right one is starting to come apart. Looks like it’s double sided tape or something. If it weren’t for this, I’d buy more pairs of leggings!

Don’t bend over

I really wanted to like these better but it became very clear why none of the ads for this style show models with a little tummy or bending over. The top won’t stay put unless you are a rail or never sit or bend over.
On the plus, there are pockets on each side that are in the perfect spot and they don’t stretch so thin that your undies Sue l show through. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Disappointed by the pockets

Love the material. It's amazing that they're not see-through when they are so thin and light. These feel much thinner than the last offline leggings I bought, which is one reason having anything in the pockets pulls the pants down. Pockets are much smaller than usual and very high up, by the waist, so it's not comfortable to use them. I have to pull my shirt up and hold the legging up so that putting things in the pocket doesn't pull the waistband down. The seams on them also stick out weirdly on the front of my leg so it looks like the leggings are inside out.

What is happening….

So I have two pair of these in black and they fit and feel great. Got the green ones in the same size and they feel at least one size smaller - so much that they pinched the back of my knee. They’re also itchy by the end of the day, which is weird, because the black ones don’t do that to me. Maybe it’s the green dye, idk, but I wouldn’t recommend going green with this one. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Good leggings but not for Working out!

So I bought a pair of the dark green leggings and I was so stoked and they feel so nice and light. But the problem is when I tried working out in them it wasn’t sweat proof and you could see a big area of sweat on them.. and it was embarrassing. But I so love them for lounging and going out.

I dont like the waist

I have multiple pairs of the Real Me leggings and love them, but the Xtra Crossover style doesnt stay in place. The crossover part bunches up due to the nature of it being so high on the sides and low in the middle. It shows if you're wearing a form fitting shirt because it doesn't lay flat. Please add pockets to the regular waist Real Me leggings.

Maybe I ordered the wrong size, but these leggings would not stay on my hips. I felt like I was constantly pulling them up. The fabric also just doesn't offer much support. Other than those things, I like the design of the crossover a lot, the fabric is super soft, and the pockets are great!

Fupa Enhancers

I wanted to love these but unfortunately they make me feel bloated all day. You have to be a twig with absolutely no belly fat for these to be comfortable on and look good on sitting down. Standing up, they look great, I'm a total hottie, but sitting down, it creates a fupa pooch I didn't even know I had. The material is silky smooth and hugs my legs and is super comfortable, but the belly part just doesn't hold you in. I'm 5'4" 125 pounds, so it's not like I need a ton of support to hold me in, but these just essentially are fupa enhancers for anyone who has a little bit of belly fat.

Really disappointed in these for working out. I did a full workout and sweat stains showed through which does not happen with other leggings. They're pretty cute for just hanging out, but not real activewear.

I ordered 2 different sizes in these. First, my usual size of medium but the groin/crotch area of these fits and looks very strange; I would not wear these without a long top. So I also got a small which fit the groin/crotch area better but then the waist band (which I hate by the way) rolls. The Original Offline are still my absolute favorites so I hope they continue to be made.

I was excited when these went on sale. I have A LOT of clothing from AE/Aerie, most likely 2/3 of my clothes. This is the first item I’ve purchased that I didn’t like the fit. It’s a little thin and as a size 16 it isn’t flattering at all.

Not worth it anymore

I’ve been buying these leggings for years and own multiple pairs because they were always flattering, comfortable, and high-quality. However, it seems like they recently changed manufacturers or lowered their quality.
I bought three new pairs, and all of them ripped in the butt area after just a couple of wears. That never happened with my older pairs.
I ended up having to throw them away, which is such a shame because they used to be my favorite.

Fit and compression are disappointing

Unfortunately, I’m disappointed in my latest purchase. I’ve been buying Aerie leggings for the last 5 years and the quality between my leggings then and now is disappointing considering the price. While the leggings are soft, granted we’ll see how it holds up after a few washes, the compression and fit is not flattering nor what I expected based upon previous history. I always opted for Aerie because fit, low maintenance care, and pricing; however, may stick with Athleta moving forward.

Not great for working out

These are soft and comfy for hanging out in, but TERRIBLE for working out. They are not breathable at all and don't wick any sweat away - it feels like my legs are wrapped in plastic, and it's so uncomfortable that I can't wait to get home and take them off. I had a similar pair from a few years ago and they were great, so it seems like the fabric was unfortunately changed for the worse. I'll keep them for wearing at home, but I'm disappointed that I can't use them at the gym anymore.

How does this have good reviews

I have no idea how this "went viral". They're so THIN that they are see-through, yes even the black ones. Absolutely not squatproof or even just lifeproof?? which is unforgivable for something marketed as activewear. The crossover looks nice when you're standing still but as soon as you start to walk around, the higher parts roll down and you're left with a flat look like every other legging ever unless you keep pulling them back up. I've gotten thicker/better quality leggings from no name brands on Amazon for half the price. Complete disappointment after hearing and seeing so much about these.

i use to only have to buy 1-2 per yr but now i buy atleast 3-6 pairs bc the material is so cheap now, after 1-2 washes and dry the material starts to feel itchy and wearing it feels uncomfortable. These leggings use to be my favorite with best quality they suck now and worth like 10$ not $40

I have been buying these leggings for years. This year I lost a lot of weight and decided I needed to buy some new ones so I ordered a medium and I am 135 pounds.. I could barely fit into the mediums. They were so tight. I was very uncomfortable. I returned them and ordered a large and the large was and the fabric was super soft and stretchy like it used to be. I wanted more so I ordered some more larges and when the new shipment came, the fabric was completely different. They barely fit me. They were skin tight. The fabric did not stretch well. I returned them and ordered an extra large even though I am 135 pounds. The extra large arrived and it is very clearly the old fabric and a very big size for me at my current size. So once again, I’m gonna go and exchange them for a large and hope I get the right fabric. there is definitely two versions of these rotating.

Quality is going downhill

I used to love these leggings but the quality of the stitching has gone downhill. I only get a few wears out of them before the stitches in the crotch start breaking, and then at that point I can only wear them around my house to ensure I don’t end up flashing someone in public. And yes, I wash them on delicate and in a laundry bag so nothing can pull at the stitches or fabric. I hate to say it but I’m going to look elsewhere for future legging purchases.

Loved Initially but Didn’t Hold Up

Loved these leggings when I first got them. They were soft and fit great, they still fit great. However, the fabric deteriorated pretty quickly. After a month or so they were pilling and attracting all the lint.
