Maybe it's just the gray color, but these pill terribly. I'm absolutely covered in lint balls. It started after wearing them as pajama pants twice, and even after washing they're a mess. The weird thing is, it's only on the lower leg part. See pic, and that's after I spent 10 minutes picking balls off by hand, it was even worse than that. I also wish they had proper side pockets. One back pocket is useless. And lastly, they're too short. Everything else at AE comes in long and extra long, why not these? Overall I don't regret the purchase bc they are suuuuper soft and the perfect level of warmth for early autumn, but definitely wait for a sale.

I just bought these at the mall and they are too short. I'm 5'9" with a 36" inseam. I wish they sold these in Long and XLong just like their leggings and jeans. I'm a 12 XLong in their jeans and I bought a Large. I guess I'll just wear them as pajamas.

The overall fit is good, but runs slightly large. The material is much thinner than I thought it would be, it almost feels cheap. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I am a LONG TIME lover of these pants, have had them in every color produced. I recently lost a lot of weight and was forced to part with mine and buy new ones. I am SO SAD to learn these now have pockets and graphics! the dark grey color is soooo good but WHY is “offline” necessary. these used to be my favorite go to for errands and traveling. Also, I am 5’1 so 100% needed the length option which is now gone. I bought these in a small and they fit just as big as the older medium pair I had and of course are longer. This was a terrible design choice on pants that were soooo loved. Will sadly be returning mine, may try the xs.

I loved these initially, they're so soft, but are already pilling so bad on the inner thighs after one wear/wash :( I'd rather pay higher prices at Lulu for better quality.

I bought these joggers. They run super big and the crotch is super long. I first bought a small because they were so soft but they were huge. I went back and bought an xxs and they fit better but the crotch ch is way too long. Wish they were sized better.

I recently made a purchase at American Eagle for my autistic nephew, who is very picky with the texture of his clothes. Normally, I love shopping at American Eagle for their comfortable and stylish clothing options. However, this time, I was extremely disappointed with the quality and customer service. To be honest, I probably would not have noticed the seam of the pocket overlapping but it was a major issue for my nephew who struggles with sensory sensitivities. This was not at all what I expected from American Eagle’s typically soft and cozy clothing. Furthermore, when I tried to reach out to customer service to express my concerns and possibly arrange a return or exchange, I was met with unhelpful and dismissive responses. It was clear that they were not understanding the unique needs of my nephew and were not willing to accommodate our situation. Overall, this experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. As someone who has been a loyal customer of American Eagle for years, this purchase has made me reconsider shopping there in the future. The lack of attention to detail in both product quality and customer service is unacceptable, especially when catering to individuals with specific needs like my nephew.

Comfortable but VERY cheap material. True fast fashion. Started pilling up and having threads come out all over after just one wear. Disappointed

These used to be my favorite sweatpants--I have 8 pairs. I was hesitant to buy a new pair because of the poorly reviewed added pocket to this style, but I thought buying a pair of the green for Christmas would be a good idea because I'm slowly wearing out my stash of the old style of this sweatpant. Now that I've tried out the new style, I can say that everyone was right--the added pocket is horrible. The pants are a lightweight material, so now it sags on the right butt cheek, it feels heavier on that right butt cheek. You FEEL the pocket. I thought it might be less terrible if there was a pocket on both sides, but NO. It was better with no pockets on the back. Please, remove these pockets on the next release of these sweatpants--they are the worst.

I bought these in store with no damages or anything and thought they were amazing. They’re super soft and comfy and I really do love them, but I washed them last night and put them on today and there’s a rip in the pants. Sweatpants that are almost $40 should not have holes being ripped into them by simply being in the washer and dryer. Even worse is that the hole sticks out of the pants and makes a little bump :( I definitely can’t wear these out of the house now. Will likely repurchase however because I really did love these.

these look so cute and comfy. i been wanting them for so long so i ordered them. get them in the mail and try them on.. 😑 these are the ugliest most basic over priced baggy flimsy $50 pair of sweatpants ive ever.. experienced. walmart has better quality sweatpants than this. save your money !! notttt worth the price at all. junk pants. promise.

I was looking for a very soft, comfy and roomy jogger I could find. After multiple walks in different stores on different seasons, I found “the one” on these Aerie joggers. What a surprise when I used them 2 days ago and took a flight. On my way I felt amazing but then I noticed my black top was all covered with fluff then when I took them off getting home FLUFF WAS ALL AROUND! It literally disintegrates inside and there is fluff on my top, jacket, purse, everything. The quality is so cheap I can’t believe I spent +$50 usd on this disposable jogger…
