Sun Bum Hair Lightener

I got this product to lighten my natural blonde hair during the winter when it gets darker. It said that it was made for blonde hair, so I felt comfortable using it. I put it in my hair as directed on the bottle. This is a product that you are not supposed to rinse out and supposed to gradually lighten hair until your next shower. I went to get dressed after putting some in and when I came back, my hair was NOTICEABLY lighter- there are almost bleach blonde looking streaks through my hair. I freaked out and ran in the shower again to rinse it out. So in maybe 10-20 minutes with no exposure to the sun it lightened my hair so much. So I guess it works?? But use it sparingly- do not follow the directions on the bottle to use generously. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

i used this product two summers ago and applied generously like the bottle said to. right away it made my hair much blonder but once i stopped using my hair turned an orange/yellow color. it's taken me almost 2 years to get it back to its normal state and tonsss of purple shampoo.
