Aerie LumberJane Waffle Shirt

To say I love these shirts would be an understatement. I now own four colors, the olive, tan, pink, and smoked gray. A side note that the smoked gray is much bluer in person. It looks more neutral and distressed in the photos but is a very solid bluish gray in person. I am typically a size M-L depending on the fit, and I sized down to a S for these shirts. They're very oversized which is a dope look, but not what I am going for. The small is still roomy but shows more of my shape. The fabric is super heavy & soft. These shirts *look* expensive, and I would say they're worth the money if you can get them for $50 on sale.

I'm not usually one for the oversized look - I've been searching for the right oversized piece that still makes me feel good. THIS IS IT. I immediately fell in love with this shirt. I bought the lavender color and it's so nice. It's thick, but not excessive. I have gotten a compliment every time I wear it (even strangers lol). As soon as I put it on, I thought, "I need more colors." My ONLY complaint (which is not even about the shirt) is the color options. I wish there were richer colors (e.g., emerald, magenta, darker camel color, etc). All that being said, YOU NEED THIS SHIRT. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Worth 50$ - I did have to return because on of the button holes on the sleeve malfunctioned. The tan is beautiful.

I love the fit of this shirt and the quality feels great. The shirt has the right amount of oversized looseness as well. This is definitely a layering shirt that will replace the flannel I have. And since I am 5'3 the sleeves also fit perfectly. This is one of the best shirts they've made.

I enjoy this shirt so much I have 3, I like that I can wear them with multiple things.

The waffle shirt is nice and comfortable, I find myself reaching for them a lot.

I love this shirt. I have it in 4 colors. This is a shirt I would love normally and I will wear when I'm done breastfeeding, but it's also perfect for breastfeeding. I love that I can easily button down to nurse, OR out in public it is oversized enough that I can fit the baby under the shirt and use it like a nursing cover too (but better because I can button down the top a little to see what is happening with baby underneath.) I agree with other reviewers that side pockets would make it even better, but I still love it. It's also great just open as a shacket. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I ordered this as a cute coverup for the beach/pool and it doesn't disappoint. it's so soft and comfortable and could be used year-round.

It is the best shirt I have ever worn I ordered a size large which is the size I normally wear and it is very comfortable I love it so much I ordered a second one and can’t wait to get it

These are so cute and thicker material than I thought they would be. I typically wear a Large and decided to stick true to size and it is perfectly oversized.

This is a great multi-purpose shirt. I found this when shopping in-store, and felt how beautiful the texture and softness was. It was on sale at $60, which I thought was a bit pricey, however - based on the functionality, texture, and quality of the shirt when trying it on, I was SOLD. This is going to be great as a layering shirt, travelling, camping, and possibly at the beach as a cover-up. So great, I'm considering buying a second one for me and one for my mom.

I love this shirt, got a size small and it is still very much oversized. Could of probably got away with an XS. It’s heavier than expected but super comfy and love the way it looks on its own or as a shacket. Will probably get other colours, but wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Love this shirt! Material is so soft. It washes well. Fits great. Can wear alone or over another top. Goes well with either jeans or leggings. Great addition to wardrobe.

Love this shirt! It kept popping up on my Instagram ads and I couldn’t bring myself to pay $50 for it but I got a $50 AE gift card for Christmas! So comfy, great weight, great quality! Definitely oversized- I’m typically an XL or XXL and ordered a Large and it’s still an oversized fit- I honestly could probably wear a small if I didn’t want it to be oversized. I think I teared up a little putting on this shirt. It is so comfortable and I don't think I want to put anything else on my body for the rest of my life. I'm 5'6" 213 with a 40C bust and the XL was perfect for the oversized look I wanted without any frumpiness. 10/10 just get yourself 2.

I’m SO into the waffle texture. The oversize fit is super cute and comfy. I do wish the sleeves were a tad longer as I’m tall but overall I absolutely LOVE it!
