AE Strigid Mom Jean

i live about an hour from the closest AE so i order online and these showed up with the security tag on them

I ordered my usual seize, but they are running very small… I usualy wear skinny jeans, i wanted to try something new… Fail! Will maybe reorder a size up.

I went to my local store and tried on this exact pair, but in a 0 regular since they don't carry 0 tall. So I ordered my 0 tall online thinking it would fit exactly the same but with a longer inseam as advertised. For some reason the tall fit has a much lower rise and the tiniest crotch area in existence. Like they fit great everywhere else but then apparently American Eagle thinks that if you are tall they should change the rise and the crotch area entirely. They are supposed to be super high rise but they fit like medium rise, and when I tell you they were splitting my kitty in half I'm not joking. I wish they sold more tall sizes in the store so I could actually confirm that they fit, rather than waiting for orders to ship and dealing with the inconvenience of returning them.

love the colour and legs, but they run small in the waist. ive been the same consistent size at AE for years (have not gained weight recently), and i think id had to size up 2 sizes for these to fit.

I order items from AE frequently because some sizes are not available locally in store. For the most part online sizing has been consistent. However lately sizes seem larger in some styles. This happened with these jeans. I love the look and color of these mom jeans. The bright blue are so attractive. The issue I had was I ordered my normal size 0 S and they bagged out. I didnt notice this until days later. Im 5ft2, 115lbs and ended up going into a store and bought 00 S. These fit tight at first but loosened up after 1 day of wearing. I also did not have the experience of these being too short in an XS, as I tried those on too. For me there wasnt a big difference in the length between 0S to 0XS. I encourage people to wear the item before taking off the tags then decide if you might need to size down.

I loved these jeans when I first got then but over time they either give me a cameltoe or it sortof looks like I have a one because of the way the crotch fabric folds. Im pretty bummed because I ended up buying 3 pairs because of how well they fit on my waist and hips. everything else is great but the faux toe is really frustrating.

I bought these mom jeans two weeks ago they fit pretty good but I like the original mom jeans better

I struggled to fit in American Eagle jeans lately are two fits in the waist perfectly, but not in the butt area. These jeans do not fit me well enough for me to keep. I wish American Eagle would have a different variety and sizes. I have not been able to keep any of the jeans I’ve bought, tried multiple sizes

Super cute but there is no stretch in the waistband. Ironically, I don't know too many moms that have a perfectly flat stomach. Just the slightest bit of stretch in the waist and they would be perfect. Sizing up is not an option for me as the but and legs are already oversized.

Comfy material but they are much tighter then expected. More like skinny jeans. Also runs short, if you usually get a Long get an XLong.

the waist has no stretch so i had to return for a size bigger. i have not received the new pair, so we shall see! size up!

I really like the look of these but after a couple months the teeth of the zipper started to fall off and the zipper detached. I think if the zipper was longer it’d be better because I did struggle to get them over my hips, but they fit perfectly once they were on. I have the strigid jean in black and they fit completely different than these ones

they looked so good on everyone else i thought they would look good on me but they didnt look the best😂 to me/my opinion they look like mens jeans on me but eveyone else they look perfect! but i did order another pair and im obsessed but keep in mind this is my very first time buying mom jeans! loved the experince

ive always loved AE mom jeans but being 5’7 ive always purchased the long or extra long length to meet my preferences and ever since they cut that length option for my size i stopped purchasing and i miss them! please bring it back!

I just bought these because I loved the wash look. They are a good quality jean that will last awhile. However, they are a tad short for my long legs. If you have shorter legs they’ll be perfect.
