These shorts look nice with anything and fit so comfortably because of the little bit of stretch. They are also not super short. I have muscular legs and these shorts are rather slimming. Def recommend. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Everything I was looking for. A black pair of shorts with a folded hem and no distress. Super cute for those times you need to be a bit more dressed-up. Washed and they didn’t bleed or unfold (the hem is sewn on the bottom, not all AE shorts have sewn folded hems). Buy it!! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I ordered these for work but they’re everything I needed. Just the right length & so comfy.

I sized up based on reviews and I definitely shouldn’t have. These are super stretchy (stretchier than the blue pair I ordered). The only reason you should size up would be if you are an apple shape because the waistband is smaller and doesn’t stretch as much compared to the rest of the material. If you’re an hourglass or pear I would NOT recommend sizing up. 5’5”, 34DDD-34E (UK 34E-F) -30-43 with an hourglass/pear shape. I usually wear a size 30/10 in stretch denim.

"The material is a bit rough, but it has a fair amount of stretch everywhere except the waistband. While that does slightly stretch, it's a bit more sturdy. I'd say the sizing is normal, but you might be able to go down one size if the stretch is too much. The length is modest yet cute as it covers everything while not being too long. For reference, I'm 5'9" / 160 lbs and I purchased a size 8. I'd recommend this pair of shorts. #AEReviewSweepsEntry
