AE Stretch Low-Rise Kick Bootcut Pant

These are comfortable pants and they look nice but the lengths are not consistent. I ordred a pair online as well as bought the same exact style in store (one black and one navy). I got a 4 x long for both pairs. The pants I ordered online were an inch shorter. They were most DEFINITELY the same style as well as the same size and both x long. I didn't accidentally order long instead of x long... I'm guessing I got a pair that was mislabeled.

I have bought American Eagle pants for work exclusively for over a decade. I used to buy the Artist style until they were discontinued. Since those left I've been buying this particular style and I've loved them until my last order. I've not bought a new pair in a year or two and they've definitely changed how they are made. They say they are low rise but they most certainly rise up higher than they used to. I'm on the taller side so I always order a size 2 long but these are really, really long. They are a bit loose in the waist as well. They didn't shrink up either. The material feels much differently, it feels cheaper than what they used to be made of. I would normally give these pants 5 stars but these are not the same pants that I used to get. Please bring back the old style! The pants on the left in the pictures is the new pair I just received, the pair on the right is one of pairs I ordered last time, a year or so ago. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I like these pants except for the pockets. I had to pay the Taylor’s to sew down the pikeys because they stuck out.

I love the feel of these pants, they come up to the perfect waist height. They feel amazing in the legs. Was a little longer than anticipated.

I recently started a new job and needed to find some decent pants. I typically wear a 12 in AE and had sized up bc these do not have very much stretch. They fit perfectly everywhere, but were very tight in the waist. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I bought the pants to complete my daughter uniform. The fit very well and has a stretch that makes the more comfortable. My outline experwas great but my store pickup was horrible. I will never ship to Gadsden, Alabama store again. My treatment was awful and made me want to leave my purchase

PLEASE!! Bring back the Artist Flare Pant. It is my all time favorite and I cannot find another fit quite like it. I still have some,but they are faded,I need new ones. I get asked all the time where I hot them from. The new Kick Boot pant isn't as flattering and the boot cut is too tapered in. Plus flare is back in! So please please bring it back

I have ordered many pairs of these pants. It seems every time I order, which I always order 2 pairs, are completely different. I ordered 2, 14 longs. One pair is long and sits up higher on the waist. The second pair sits lower on the waist and are shorter. I know these items are mass produced, but it would be nice to order 2 pairs of the same pant, same size, and have them fit closer to the same.

The material and style is more of a “chinos” type of pant. Smaller fit than regular jeans as well. I would have considered keeping them if they fit but they are nothing like their jeans.

These would have been great pants if the length would have been more accurate. I am 5’4” and I purchased the regular length but when trying on they were way too long almost as If they were longs. Was really unhappy spending almost 100$ on pants that were so Mis sized

So I initially ordered these in an 18 regular because that’s what I usually wear. First I will tell you that I have 2 other pairs of AE jeans at home that fit me perfectly from a year ago that are size 14. So keep in mind that AE Jean sizes change dramatically over the years. Anyways, I ordered these and the fit around the waist and legs was AMAZING. But wow were they long, and I have long legs. So I returned them and ordered an 18 short. The length was perfect but they fit nothing like the 18 regular fit around my waist and legs, they were actually a little bit baggy. AE pants and jeans are the ONLY ones I will wear but this was a dramatic change between two of the same sizes.

I've worn a size 8 for years in everything AE. I bought these in khaki color as well but these fit smaller than the khaki some how. NOTE: THEY RUN SMALL! SIZE UP!

These are awesome pants, but be sure to order a longer length then you need! I put them through the dryer once, and they shrank a good 3" in length. My original pair of 10 long turned into a pair of 10 regular. I ended up shortening them to ankle length so I could keep wearing them. The seat of the pant also bags out a bit as you're wearing them, but a quick wash fixes that.

Love the Kick Boot. I have several pairs of this style and they are my favorite. However this pair came with the crotch not stitched together. Instead of fussing with sending back and waiting for a new pair, I stitched it together myself by hand.

Most of the time you don’t have extra long. Material could be way better too. Sometimes they rip way to easy when you wear them as a work pant.

Don’t like that it says denim? I thought they would be a jean but more like a dress pant. But they are super soft and fit good .

Once I went the next size up they are great! I wear a 6 short but had too go too an 8 short. Rise is a little high but I made it work. I have found that all Jeans/pants run small and the frustrating thing is 90 percent of stuff is online only .. so u can't try on.

The fabric is thin and snug, I will feel provocative in these at work unless I wear a blouse that is long to cover my bottom because these pants leave nothing to the imagination. I wear a 10 in basically everything but these are snug and LONG. Even in heels they drag the floor. They are super comfy though! I will be ordering a 12 short next time. The other reviews were spot on about the pockets sticking out and with the fabric being so thin you can clearly see your panty-line.

I order these pants a couple times a year for work and every time I get something a little different. Typically the difference is only ever in the fabric, but this time it was sizing and fabric. The pants are a little bigger than usual which I can deal, the problem in the sizing lies in the length. They are 1-1.5 inches longer than usual causing me to step on the bottoms. I can’t afford to hem then so this is a huge inconvenience.

I ordered these in 3 different colors. Only 1 of them fit the way they normally do. The waist on the other 2 were WAY too big. I brought them into the store and reordered the 2 that were too big. I received the new ones and one of them fit, but the other was still too big. Not sure why there is such variability in the same style. I do enjoy the fabric and the pants when they are the correct size.

I ordered two pairs of these pants in a size 4 regular. At first I thought both fit well and were the perfect, however, after wearing the navy pair for a couple of hours they stretched out tremendously. The other pair on the other hand fit perfect all day long....I just do not understand how I could of ordered a size down in one pair and the other is just right...pour quality and I thought I was going to be getting more for my money....

I really liked these pants they fit comfortably, but were a little snug. I went up 1 size because I was worried that they'd be tight on my butt because of the material (I was right.) The rise is low, I'm not really used to low rise pants for work so it took me a while to get use to them. Also they are very delicate, I ripped the back of them on the first day at work when I got stuck on a stention. Total loss but I'll buy another pair for sure, maybe one more size up.

I love the kickboot pants I have the khaki and now the dark grey. I did not like the black however and exchanged them for another grey pair. They don’t seem to have as much stretch and are a lot tighter than the khaki and grey colors. I also found the material to not be as soft silky and stretchy as the other colors. I think if the same fabric could be used for the black pair as the grey and khaki they would be perfect as well.

I have three pairs of these Kick Boot Pants. The navy blue and the tan ones fit perfect so I decided to order a pair in black. Thinking it would be the same as the others I took the tags off and put them on. They are so much tighter than my other pairs. I wore them thinking maybe I was bloated that day or something but nope this pair never loosened to a comfortable fit and because I wore them I can’t return them. Disappointed in the inconsistency but I love my other pairs!

Shorter than expected. I've noticed the black pants seem to run shorter. Still like them though but will try xtall next time.
