AE Stretch Low-Rise Kick Bootcut Pant

Really cute and soft for school, bootcut is also not too wide. Be forewarned, these are 100% low rise. Look cute with converse!

Fit is fairly true to size, there is stretch in pants including waist. Pants were a bit long, and “boot kick” is closer to flare than straight leg at the bottom. Overall good pants for work, I’d just prefer less of a flare at the bottom.

I REALLY liked these pants!! They were a little tight in the thighs, but I think that us the " new" style!!

I love these! I ordered a 14 regular and they are a little long. They work just fine with a pair of heeled booties though. I feel professional and comfortable when I wear these pants to work. It's not easy to find work pants that fit well everywhere but these knocked it out of the park. I wish there were more colors; I'd buy them all.

I ordered these mainly for work, but will be wearing them outside of work as well. These pants are good staple pieces for any women that have a closet that's filled mostly with business casual attire. Fair amount of stretch. My only thing is I didn't really expect the fabric to be like this. I was expecting more of a khaki pant type of feel, but these are more on the soft side. No worries, not so soft as to draw a bunch of lint and dust or anything. Just softer than I thought. Not necessarily a bad thing. I will be keeping them. I got black and grey. If you are between sizes, I would say go a size up. I am writing this review after wearing these pants since 7am and have been working. Enough stretch for movement, but not so much that they lose their shape or anything. As mentioned, I do have booty. Women with booty, keep in mind, these are a lower rise. If it wasn't for the belt loops, I wouldn't be able to wear these because my crack would definitely show if I didn't have a belt on. The reason I took 1 star off is because I DESPISE shallow pockets. Like women don't need functional pockets. Stuff falls out of my front pockets -_-

I normally wear a 6P in AE pants. But because of the material of the Kick Boot Pants I went up to a 8P. They are a little loose, but I know they will shrink and fit just right. I purchased black, gray, and navy. The navy was longer in length and I needed to have 2" taken off the bottom. For reference I'm 5'2 and 135 lbs with athletic thighs.

These are great fitting pants I love the soft fabric with a bit of give to them the only thing I wish they were an inch longer ...but a very common problem for me

LOVE these pants! I have ordered 4 pairs within the last few months. The one consistent complaint i do have though is that the outer left leg seam on the pant constantly rotates forward on every single pair and ends up more towards the front of my leg. Anyone else have this problem???

I love the grey version of these pants, I've been wearing them for over a year now in a size 4. I ordered these for some color variation in my work wardrobe but I could hardly pull them on and they couldn't button. My grey ones I wear every week. I ended up having to return them because the sizing was so inconsistent.

Started new job and these pants are great .. wish y'all would keep these in stock cause I had to get a 8 xl long because 8 reg wasn't and isn't available would buy 2 more but all out of stock

Cute cut, love how they feel. Extra love that there are 4 functional pockets. I am concerned that the color will fade so am taking precautions when washing.

I love the feel of these, but they were a little small. Should have ordered the 20. I thought with the stretch it would be fine. There isn't too much stretch but enough to be comfortable.

The pants fit great and are very comfortable. Love them and will reorder them in the future.

These are perfectly nice pants but they are like black khakis. Denim should not be in the name. I bought them because I wanted black jeans but they aren't jeans at all.

I bought these to have a nice casual pant as I usually wear jeans, leggings, jeggings. I love the navy color. I order online bc I’m in x-long. 5”8 149lbs for reference and 8x-long is my size. These pants really make the booty look good! I love the look of flare or bootleg. The only qualm I have with these is that they are longer than the normal extra long. So I need to wear a higher heel with them. Normally I can wear flats with an extra long Jean from AE. But that’s ok. It’d be great news for anyone taller than me.

Well, I have purchased these kick boot pants a couple of years ago and the ones I received a couple of days ago are not the same. They seem more of a stretch pants then the ones I already have and I like the ones I already have better. I ordered them for work because I’m 5’11 and they have long and extra long and that’s exactly what I need. They are always available and I really can’t find that anywhere else. I’m gonna continue to wear them but I wish AEO could of stuck with the old ones.

I love AE pants. I have many pairs of the colored jeggings. I bought the same size I normally get in the jeggings, 8 long. The fit is great but they are longer than expected so I had to return them and get the regular length. For reference, I'm 5'9" and normally buy the long length in jeggings.

I have been faithful to these pants for years, as I cant wear jeans to work. I usually purchase the kahki colors but recently purchased both kahki and black. The two pairs of kahki fit exactly as I expected while both pairs of black were too long and bigger in the waist. What the heck? Why wouldnt your sizing be exactly the same in the same cut/same material - just different color? I thought maybe the first black pair was a fluke, but nope they are both too big in exactly the same way. Weird?? Im still going to continue to wear these pants for work- i do love them, but wish you would fix the size issue! I definitely recommend these to anyone that needs to wear these as business casual workwear, but maybe buy a few sizes and send the rest back.

I was excited to come across this style of pant at American Eagle - and in black without the stinky smell. I ordered the X-long in size 10. It's rare for me to find a pant too long but these were about 4 inches too long - my normal inseam being 34". These pants are very slenderizing through the legs but IMO are not designed for any width in hips or a longer torso. Would probably be great for a very tall, no curvy gal or worn with heels. BTW, found out by other try-on's at the store, size Long is perfect for me so will know that in the future. Returned these.

I bought about 7 or 8 jeans/pants in 6 x-long in the 3 last years and it's the first time I see pants that are soooo long! To me it looks like a mistake. The are exactly 4 inches longer than my longest 6 x-long jeans!!! What is even strange, is that I bought the same day two pants of the same model and same size, one in black and one in stone color. The black ones are almost 3 inches longer than the stone ones. Except for the lenght, they are perfect. Thinking about shorten or exchange them. I put 4 stars anyway, because I prefer to have longer than too short! ;) It can be fixed!

The fabric is perfect, very comfortable, and will be great for work. You would like to live in this pants if you got the right size. Being a 5'4 and under 100lb. I order a 2-short. But the waist is somewhat large for me. The length is much shorter than AE's 2-short jeans. They are too short for me . Need to return and get a 0-regular.

I have gotten these for the past 5 years ,however have in mind that these are super thin fabric that would probably not last as long as the old pairs. The overall quality has gone down and now I am not willing to pay full.price for an item but for work pants on sale they work. Fit is perfect and will wait to see how the fading is with these (problem of the past ones)

After trying the 2 Long, then 0 Regular, I finally settled on 2 Regular in black and gray. Over the years, the sizing on American Eagle's pants and jeans have changed. I still fit in all my old 0 Long jeans, yet now have to buy 2 Long in jeans. (For reference, I fluctuate between 115/118 lbs.) The 2 Long in these pants were just a little too long; they were fine wearing boots or a heel, but once I tried them on with my Toms/Bobs, they touched the ground. Didn't want to deal with that so I settled with the Regular length. Being 5'8"-5'8 1/2", I was surprised the Regular were still long enough. These pants are very comfortable and soft, and no, they do not get loose or bag out as the day goes on. I do agree that the pockets are a bit awkward, they are the kind you can't really put anything bulky in and they have the annoying back pocket that's buttoned so I don't really put my phone in there. The only other thing is they have that semi-faded wash (in the black color) so they aren't jet black or anything. I will continue to buy these over the years as long as they are still available and I don't find anything better. But American Eagle quality is hard to beat. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I love the feel of the fabric. Also that I can wear to work plus dress down with flats when I'm running around with kids. Super comfy. The only thing I would change is the low rise, I just need a little bit more higher for support.

They fit pretty lose. I usually get 12 short in the jeans but these ran bigger.

I bought these pants for work and I'm so glad I did. They are extremely comfortable. I work 10 hour shifts and I'm constantly on my feet so being comfortable in my clothes is a must. I will be purchasing three more pairs.

Soft and stretchy! The pockets stay open, but sewed them shut and pants look great! For some reason the regular fit is longer on these pants, but longer is better than too short! Will buy more when they go on sale.

Great pants & so comfortable to work in

I ordered 2 pairs of the black ones in 8 x-long for school pants and I love them. With my height, I love how the pants hit the floor just enough to my preference but to where I'm not tripping or stepping on them. I'm usually a 7 in jeans and got the 8, I'm required to wear a belt for school so they fit fine. I just hate that the color fades. Both pairs are now faded black, I don't know if I'm washing them wrong or what. I wish the back two pockets didn't have the button but that's not a deal breaker for me.

What I love is how these pants do not have to be ironed! Purchased for high school uniform. The waist is somewhat large and required a bit of adjustment.
