AE Curvy High-Waisted Poppy Trouser

I probably could have gone for a size smaller and I used the sizing chart. I’m hippy too. I’m 5’7 and needed the long the regular length was way too short. They’re nice for work and beat Aritzia prices.

not particularly curvy but I am pear shaped. My bottom is average sized but my thighs are quite huge. I often struggle with pants from zara because they'll have gigantic waist bands but then super tight on my thighs. This makes a belt necessary. I love the look of slacks/trouser type pants that fit perfectly so that you do not need a belt. That is why I went for these pants. They are from the curvy line so I figured I'd have no issue with them being too tight on my thighs. Also the fact that they have banding in the back made me think that these would be great for giving me the beltless look. I read a lot of the reviews and most of them said to size down. My size at the moment is a US size 12 and I'm trying to get back to a US size 8. So I thought that if I size down and it's too tight, then it would be fine since I'd be able to fit them at some point. I also read a lot of reviews that say these are super long. A lot of my pants are unfortunately high waters (shows my ankles/calves) on me despite only being 5 feet 8 inches tall. The last pants I bought in regular were also high waters so I didn't listen to the comments and just bought long because you can always make pants shorter, but making them significantly longer isn't really a thing. Going a size down was good advice, however they STILL gap on my waist and I have to wear a belt with them or else they sag and look super not put together. This made me kind of sad, but they're still great pants. I just don't understand why the waist band is so big. As for the length. I actually wish they were longer. They do not drag on the floor at all for me and again, I'm only 5'8" which is on the lower end of tall. Maybe my legs are long. They aren't high waters but I wish they were a bit longer so they do that cute draping thing over shoes but I'll live. All in all the quality is great. There super lightweight but don't look cheap at all. Very fitting for the workplace and probably outside of the workplace as well.

I absolutely love these! Reviews are correct and you should go down a size, but these are the best work pants I’ve purchased. I’m a huge fan of the A&F Sloane pant and these are more affordable, softer and a better fit. If you order the long be warned they drag even with the platform Uggs and I’m 5’7, 175lbs carry most of my weight in my midsection and thighs and normally get a long in pants but these were actually 1.5-2 inches too long. If you normally have a waist gap even in a curvy style, SIZE DOWN. If you get these, be ready for all the compliments!

wore them to a meeting at the hospital. everyone complimented me. They fit perfect. i wish there was a full suit. i got a 8Long , i wear 6 or 8 depends on style.

I bought these pants on a whim and am so so happy with them! They are super comfy but are still very classy, I love them already and can predict that they will be staples in my closet!! They are a bit long so I would recommend getting short if you typically get regular.

After reading reviews, I sized down one size. I am 5’2”, and the short length fits perfectly without dragging the floor. These pants can be dressed up or down, they are comfortable, and the fabric is luxe for the price.

Loveee these pants. NEED MORE COLORS PLS!!!! More neutrals. And maybe like a brown and olive green? Or plaids? These are the only trousers that fit my body type right. I'm 5'5", 145 pounds and carry a lot of it in my hips. I got a size 4 short and it fit perfect. I do wish the waist was a little tighter but I'm sure they will get tighter after I wash them. Also, seriously feel like pajamas.

These are great, finding work pants for larger hips is incredibly difficult so I’m very glad I tried these. The sizing is the same for me as all of AE’s curvy fit jeans. I bought the long size and they hit just above my heel (I’m 5’10 and I often find myself in between regular and tall lengths).

I LOVE these pants. They are so comfortable and flattering, it literally feels like I'm wearing pajamas but I look put together. The other reviews are right they are suuuuper long so I did get the short version of these. The touch the ground still and I am 5'3 so if you're any shorter than me that will be a problem.

I absolutely love these! I’m a bigger girl and I have a bit of a ‘pouch’ so a lot of pants don’t look great on me. I always have to size up to feel comfortable but then the waist is to big. These are stretchy but not to the point where they get stretched out. Very soft and comfortable and nice and flowy. I will be buying more asap. These are perfect for work.

These pants were very comfortable and flattering ++ have deep pockets! Based on the size chart I got the 8 long curvy, but I found the waist too loose on me. I still have plenty of room in the hips and thighs, so going to exchange for a 6. Also, the long length was beautiful, first non-jean pants that are long enough on me!!! Depending on how the 6 fits, I might get these in the other colour too

I wore these pants for a very long dressy day and they were very comfortable. Heavy enough without feeling stiff.

I just received these today and I am beyond thrilled with the quality and fit! I am very curvy and find dress pants to be the one thing I despise shopping for- they’re usually too tight in the wrong places, gap or are too low in the back, etc etc. Very rarely do I find anything beyond the average skinny fit. These are MIRACULOUS! The fit is 10/10. The cinched back creates minimal gapping, the legs have enough flow so they’re not restricting in the thighs. I hope they make these in more colors! Also, I typically wear 4 or 6 in AE stretchy denim & a 6 fit in these PERFECTLY!

As someone who's 5'11 with a 13-inch waist to hip ratio, I've never been able to find a pair of dress pants that worked for me... Until I found these! They fit true to size, and they aren't too tight in the thighs and too loose in the waist like every other dress pant I've tried. If you're pear or hourglass shaped you need to give these a try! Fabric is nice and soft too. Would love to see some more colours like navy, olive green or tan. I'd buy them in a heartbeat!

for reference, I am 5’7 and I am a size 14 or 16 depending on the brand but these pants fit perfectly at a size 14. They are just the right amount of stretch and they’re super comfortable and they look good. would def reccomend to go ur true size! if you are looking for something that hits the floor but not too long these are it
