Weird hybrid

First of all this isn't a flannel, its a fleece that looks like a flannel. I assumed this being an "overshirt" it would intentionally run slightly big to fit layers underneath. Unfortunately that isn't the case, it runs very slim in the arms & shoulders so fitting anything like a hoodie under it is pretty tight. Definitely size up. Also the sleeves are too thick to roll up which sucks.

RUNS VERY LARGE

RUNS LARGE. This shirt looks great & is SO soft inside & outside but I took off 2 stars because of the fit & sizing. I'm 185 lbs & 6'2" and I've worn a size Large-Tall in AE flannels for YEARS. This was very over-sized, very wide & long & the arms were shorter than usual for a large-tall. Just an awkward fit. If you have short arms & want a wide, over-sized, *very* soft jacket, this is for you.
