Aerie Real Happy Strapless Push Up Bra

I was SO pumped & needed a good strapless but this came in and I was so let down. MY MISTAKE for not reading reviews first. Every bra I own is this size and this one is way too small. I’d size up the band AND cup. Not gonna bother returning though because I hate the process. It’s not so uncomfortable that I can’t wear it but it won’t be my first reach. Size up & I think you’ll be super happy with it!

I normally wear a 36B and am unfamiliar with push up bras. I'm sure it's a lovely bra, but my girls wouldn't stay in. It pushed WAAAAY up, so I will return in store when everything opens again. It's nicely made though. There are probably push up rules I don't know about--I probably could have manipulated by getting a different size.

I just received this bra in the mail along with one other bra (see photo— cat sheets included for your viewing pleasure). Both bras are the same size, but as soon as I took this bra out of the packaging, I could tell that it was way too small. The band on this bra is a little snug but not uncomfortably so. However, the cups are so tiny that it’s comical. The cups are at least one size too small, perhaps more than that. The quality of the bra is nice, especially for $20, but I have no idea how Aerie devised this sizing. If you have the option to do so, I’d recommend sizing up by one cup size. That being said, Aerie doesn’t carry a larger cup size in a 30 band, so I will be returning this.

The cup size was fine but I’m always a 32 D and i could barely get the band the clasp... i has to re order 3 times to begin with and now this.. just really disappointed. I finally got a lady on that phone that was actually helpful with my final re order and she’s the main reason I would try to order from here again.

This bra is pretty uncomfortable. I have the right size for myself, but the sides of the bra band seem to bend inwards and it gets very bothersome and uncomfortable throughout the day. At one point when I took it off after a long day, I felt bruised in those areas, and I still felt the "bruising" the next day when putting on a different and more comfortable bra. I've never encountered this issue with a bra before. As much as I want to like this bra, I just can't, sadly.

Full disclosure - this review is for a AA bra. I have very small boobs and was excited to try out Aerie's AA sizes - I've especially been hunting for a good strapless bra or ones with alternative straps, which is hard to find! I ordered about 5 bras from here to test them out and this was the most disappointing of all of them. It is NOT a AA cup by any means. The actual cup width is VERY small, yes, but the CUP itself is still huge, I have A cups that are smaller than it! So it was too narrow to fit my breast but too large in the cup area so I had a giant gap between the front of the cup and my actual boob. Sadly will be returning, I had such high hopes! The other AA bras seem fine, so not sure why the strapless is so different.

I was looking for a strapless bra to wear with a halter style dress. I liked the buff color of this bra and fairly good reviews. However, I just felt like the band was kind of tight, the straps weren't long enough to convert to racerback comfortably, and the demi coverage did not feel supportive. It felt like one of the girls was bound to fall out at some point. I imagine for someone smaller chested, maybe it would be more comfortable. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I had bought this for a wedding and I didn't have enough time to return it. When I first put it on, I knew it was too small (I bought my normal size), so I bought a bra extender to use with it. Even with the bra extender, by the end of the wedding, it had left large bruises and blisters on my ribs. By the end of the night, I was having difficulty breathing. Beware of this bra and leave enough time to return if you choose to get it, just in case it's too small!

This bra is so unflattering when you wear it without straps. The band fits fine but there's no breast support whatsoever.

I usually get a 30C in push up bras but I got a 30c and a 32C for this one. The band on both was awfully tight and the cups cut my boob in half horizontally and we’re really pointy. Overall not a good strapless bra

I read the reviews and decided to go for it. I ordered my usual size and this is one of the stiffest and most uncomfortable bras I have ever worn. I have big breasts and I usually get XXL for bralettes and sports bras. I would skip if this is the case! I wish aerie would bring the strapless bandeaus for XXL back.

Had to return this bra because there was absolutely no support. There is hardly any push up and my boobs just basically fell out the sides

this bra gives you no support from any angle. everything spills out and it constantly falls down. i do not recommend this at all.

The quality of the bra seems wonderful, but the band is far too tight. Strapless bras shouldn't be worn loose, but this one hardly fit around my ribcage in my normal size. Definitely size up if you order this.

This bra seemed to fit well when I initially tried it on, however I've never been able to wear it for more than a couple hours due to insane pressure and pain on the sternum. I thought this would improve as I wore and washed it more, but it never did. Now this bra just sits in my drawer, barely worn.

very very big. i have always been a 38d and when i received this bra, it could’ve fit someone who was a 38F. probably about a three inch gap or extra room in the cups. very large. size down.

I've ordered a 32B which is my true size but the band was too tight. The band measured to be 22 and the bust size was 24, this bra size is actually 22B!

I bought the same exact bra last year in a 38c and it was the best bra ever. After losing 40lbs I decided to buy a new one in a 38b, band size is horrid fits like a 34 band and makes hangovers cup fits great but they have definitely changed these bras and not for the better

I really wanted to like this bra. I’m well aware that strapless bras do run on the tighter side, which is needed to stay up, but this one dug in and was so uncomfortable! I have tried so many times to wear this and end up changing my bra and top cause I hate it :( also not a fan of the three clasps in the back. Not the bra for me.

this was incredibly uncomfortable. and it might be my saggy mom boobs, but the gap between my boob and the cup was insanely bad. it just was not a comfortable or well fitted push up bra. it wasn’t due to sizing, it was just a poor cup design in my opinion.

Ordered my normal bra size and it was too tight and too small. I need to return but don’t know if they are taking them

I'm a 28D, but I ordered a 30C since that was the smallest band option available and that size still usually works for me. As an actual 28D, a 30C was too tight on me. When measuring the band of Aerie's bra, the band is not 30 inches, but is actually 25 1/2 inches. This bra, meant to be a 30 band, is actually a 24 or 26 band size. Two to three sizes down than what it should be. Since the band was so tight, it was making everything flat. Whenever I added 2 more inches to the band with an extender, the cups fit me fine, so in actuality, Aerie's 30C is either a 24F or a 26E. I wouldn't recommend buying this bra because the sizing is completely inaccurate. The band was two, almost three whole, sizes off.

Wish I would've read some of these before buying-it definitely runs extremely small. I think I'd need to go up 2 sister sizes for this to work but I'm not going to bother.

The bra fall off my breast, I had to keep pulling it up, so annoying and uncomfortable. If you have bigger breast please don’t buy this.

The point of a strapless bra is for it to give support either way. It just doesn’t work for me without the straps. It fits okay around the back but it is snug which makes spillage happen all the way around. I’m a solid TTS as a 36D and it just didn’t work for me. When worn without straps it puckers at the armpit and doesn’t hold me up and just kind pushes my boobs up and over. Not good. In my photos I have one strap on the one side of the shirt with the strap.. and the other side obviously doesn’t have the strap. You can see the difference.

This bra is WAYY too small. I should have looked at the other reviews before purchasing, because I would have sized up. It's also uncomfortable - the material isn't great and the underwire digs into me. I needed a new strapless nude coloured bra but I'll be returning this once the stores open up again. For the first time I'm disappointed in Aerie! :(

Ugh... where to start?! First off, the size runs small. I was hard to breathe in. Secondly... where's the push? It is so unflattering.

Tried it on and wiggled around to test staying power and it seemed fine. Exactly 8 minutes after removing the tags and wearing it for real it had slid down far enough to not be serving the purpose of a bra anymore. It had also left painful marks in my skin. The gimmick is that it tries to hold on by sheer tightness rather than using sticky lining like others. But without an 'A' figure there's nothing to keep it up. I always recommend aerie bras for small chested gals, but not this time. It works like a normal bra with the straps, but the band is still tighter than my other aerie bras of the same size so it's not comfortable or worth it over the others.

Would definitely recommend sizing down because the top of the bra wasn’t laying flat so the bra can outward and it looked terrible under my tops. It also doesn’t stay up AT ALL so sizing down helps suffocate you since there’s no slip guard in the bra #AEReviewSweepsEntry
