Super happy with this skirt! I’m usually a s/m and the m fit perfect. I was worried that the material might be sheer but it is thicker than expected and not sheer at all so you can definitely wear this skirt professionally as well.

Pretty, but longer than expected

I really wanted to love this skirt, but when I received my order it ended up being a bit longer than I imagined it would be (maybe it's just me) and the color is much paler than expected as well. Sadly I will be returning.

Not a “midi” skirt

Does American Eagle know what a midi skirt is? Because I don’t think they do. Their midi skirts ALWAYS run super long which defeats the purpose of it being midi (duh). I’m not sure if this is only with their bigger sizes but it seems as if they think that fat people are 10 feet tall. I’m the average height for women and I’m still tripping over this skirt. Such a disappointment. I’m scared of sizing down because I’m not sure how figure hugging that would look in other areas.
