Not what I expected but not bad either

These mom jeans runs small due to the material make up. I loved the fit but unfortunately when trying them on I felt like at any given time when walking they would fully rip from the front in the knees area. The button on the waist area expansion for it to close also varies from jeans with the same style.

These pants did not button at all. I am normally a Size 18 in almost all jeans AE. But I guess I have bad luck with mom jeans because the ones I have bought don’t fit me either they’re to tight on the thighs or my waist is too big. I would Size up.

These jeans were just not as stretchy as I expected in the waist and hip. I feel like “mom jeans” should be flattering to moms, and that includes having a little more stretch to them around the belly and hips. Other than that, they look great.

I usually purchase jeans with stretch. I wear a 4short. I read the details. I saw some stretch. I ordered online 6short didn't fit. I let my daughter to try it on. It was a no, too tight on her. Then, ordered 8xshort, didn't fit me, but fit my daughter. I ordered a 10xshort and it just fit.

I definitely shouldve gotten a size 10-11 instead of an 8. They were tight like how I like to wear my pants but the ripped part ripped all the way down and they’re basically exposing my entire knee not even an hour after I had bought them. Thats on me for choosing smaller pants that my actual size.

I bought these because I liked the look of the open tears and the connecting strands. I wore this pair one time (the waist is a bit tight since there's next to no stretch but nicely roomy in the thighs as expected) and every single thread snapped by the end of day. The thighs are now open, flapping, gaping holes that blow in the breeze and dangle completely off my leg when sitting; rather than looking distressed as intended it just looks like crap. Honestly even if I win this #AEReviewSweepsEntry I probably won't bother with American Eagle jeans anymore.

Super cute, but not for bigger girls

These jeans are adorable as long as you’re standing up. I initially got a size 12R which is my normal size but the fabric that runs across the holes dug into my thighs so I sized up. The 14R fit a little nicer but when you sat down again the fabric dug into my thighs. If you’re a smaller person with not as much thigh meat they would be super cute!! I’m sad I have to return them.

I was really excited to get these pants. I got the size I always get in American Eagle jeans (4) and these were incredibly tight. This was super disappointing. I went in store and exchanged them for, another pair of pants in a size 4 that did fit?? So annoying.

I order 16/18 in American Eagle jeans. Order them all the time. I wanted a looser fit to these so I sized up. I can’t even button them. And of course they don’t make anything larger. American eagle is a large Jean company but doesn’t make anything over a 20.

I had high hopes for these jeans as they are marketed as STRETCH but I am here to say, there is NO STRETCH in these things. I am normally a 16/18 in most brands but based on reviews ordered an 18 and a 20. I COULDN'T EVEN ZIP THE ZIPPER LET ALONE BUTTON THE JEANS. Returning both sizes and not reordering them.
