A little to high & heavier than I thought

I ordered a 6 and 8 because I just did not know how they would fit. The 6 was snug around my belly & fit pretty high. I tried on the 8. They fit better but not a fan on my shorts fitting so far up so returned them for a different fit short. The corduroy was soft but just a tad to heavy for my likens.
