I love these for so long finally found it in my local AE, I’m glad I didn’t order online because these run very small, not stretchy, and higher waisted than I’ve thought. I’m usually a 8 (6 in an awesome day) with a booty. I have to get 12 in there to feel comfortable. (10 is very fitted, I wanted that ‘relax vibes’!) So yeah, definitely sized up!

My 12-year-old entering middle school who has her finger on the pulse of current fashion trends wanted mom jeans. Because of her size I honestly never thought she could wear American Eagle clothes. she’s so tiny and I didn’t think they provided clothes to fit her body type. Not only does she love the blue jeans but they do not violate any dress codes. And for where we live they are very biased based on gender. Since these jeans have patches it is completely appropriate and age-appropriate. All while being able to express her individual style. We all remember being 12 years old in middle school, right? Those can be some tough years. This is when we are trying to figure out who we are. What our style is… she doesn’t just dress because it’s trendy it’s a form of expression. She went from being an elementary school wearing movie characters deemed a little girlish. Overnight she seem to grow and know exactly what she wanted. Right before school started I could not afford the type of clothes she wanted. But after school started I discovered American Eagle jeans had clothes that fit her and the amazing sale prices allowed me to gift her clothes that built up her self-esteem. Clothes do not make a person. That is not where her self-esteem comes from. AE allows my child to Express who she is Thus Helping her self-esteem! It’s incredibly hard to go into middle school and be the “special ed kid” in a self contained classroom. But what’s different is she leaves to go to her electives with older peers. She had so many fears of being bullied and made fun of for her clothes before we could provide the American eagle jeans! 10 out of 10. I only wish I could have had American Eagle when I was her age with all the different sizes. Like her I was tiny but very tall. The wide ranges in lengths provide every child The opportunity to wear something fashionable.

Bought these for my daughter. Can only find Jeans in extra long at American Eagle. Their quality is awesome and the fit is perfect.

I love these, they're super cute! I think they fit very true to size but they have no stretch so if you typically wear jeggings or really stretchy jeans maybe get a size bigger. They are very high waist which i prefer...I have a belly and find higher waist more comfortable. The knee hole was bigger than I was thinking, I'm not a huge fan of big rips, but aside from that I love everything about these. For size reference I'm about 220lbs, 5.5 and went with an 18 short as I wanted them a bit shorter.

These look very good. My only problem with them would be that the seam is high and since they’re not stretchy, that is a bit uncomfortable when sitting. They fit kind of baggy and air flows which I appreciate. I always order short and these seem shorter than usual, but for me, that’s okay.

I fell in love with these the moment I saw them online and had to grab them while they were discounted. First I ordered a 6 because I honestly haven’t ordered jeans in about 2 years, but I couldn’t even button them. Fast forward to reordering I got a 10 and they fit perfectly. They have a high cotton content so almost no stretch but they fit my curves from the waist down toy butt perfectly. I’m 5’7” 160 ish for reference. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Hey hi there! hopefully this helps you out! I apologize that it's long! #AEReviewSweepsEntry For reference: I typically wear a size 10 regular (I am 5'3.5" and weigh about 175 lbs - quite curvy). Big thighs and butt, but a smaller waist. Skinny jeans with lots of stretch are my go-to, along with the Artist Style that are currently making a come back. American Eagle jeans are the only jeans I wear - this has been the case since I was in middle school (25 yrs old now). Now to the review! I typically order a REGULAR length and they tend to be longer (I really should order short) - but I prefer to CUFF my jeans. These ones are perfect length without cuffs - so they run a bit short. The description says that there is some stretch, however I have not found much stretch - they are loosing up as you wear them through the day though. I ordered a size up (I ordered a 12 instead of a 10) to ensure the right, comfortable fit. This however could also be due to having a curvier body - do with that information what you must. Note - they are 100% cotton, which means no stretch. They are REAL mom jeans - vintage jeans were always 100% cotton - it is new to have stretchy jeans. having said that - these jeans are THICK and of HIGH quality (as all AE Jeans), but will take some hard work/lots of wear to wear them down (chub rub, yard work, etc). A previous review stated that the pockets are small - I'm sorry, but that is WRONG in my experience. I can fit my whole hand in the pocket and fit my iPhone completely. The previous review said the patches "sewn shut" the pocket so they're smaller - perhaps they got a test/design pair, as my pockets are fully functional and large - nothing was mistakenly sewn shut. Overall - certainly worth shaving my legs to wear distressed jeans.

These jeans are super comfortable, and cute! They're super stretchy, so they fit well on someone like me who has bigger thighs proportionately to the rest of my body. I love that they're a little different to a regular pair of jeans, but at the same time, still super wearable. Definitely was sold on them from the first minute I saw them on a mannequin, let alone tried it on!

I love the patches on these jeans! I love how I look in them, and they fit perfectly! The jeans do limit me to do some flexible moves, like lunges and the splits, but I do love how the jeans fit to my body!

These are so cute & comfortable! The patch material is securely attached to the pants. Washes great.

The patching is cute, but Mom jeans fit smaller on waist and wider in hip leg area which doesn't really work for me

Love the jeans and the design but I must say this is the first thing I have ever ordered to(in my opinion) run big. I normally wear a size 4 in jeans and a size small in everything but these were way too big on me. I would say it’s a little on me as I ordered online assuming my size. I will be exchanging them for a size that fits. Other than that the length and style was perfect.

Loved these jeans! BUT I read all of the reviews saying they run small and there is no stretch… not true. They are very true to size, I originally ordered a size up because that’s what most reviews said and I went back and got my normal size 6. They do run a bit shorter than normal but otherwise I found they had the normal stretch and the 8 was too big! Hope that helps.
