AE Stretch Corduroy Mom Straight Pant

I had forgotten what the "Swish" sound of corduroy pants was. These take me back to High School. Super comfortable, the leg is quite roomy in comparison to other cuts. Love the fall colors. They did run a little large so if you are in the middle of 2 sizes -go with the smaller.

I love these so much that I got them in two colors! The green is a perfect shade. My only minor complaint, and reason for four stars, is that even in the long length, they’re borderline too short. Otherwise, they fit like a dream. Perfect in the waist and tummy. Rise is high enough for us long torso gals.

These jeans are super cute, super comfortable, and fit me perfectly. It is hard for me to find pants that fit because I am curvy with a smaller waist and long legs. These could not have fit any better! (I am 5"8 and 140lbs for reference) With that being said, they make the most awful sound when I am walking and the fabric rubs against each other. It drives me crazy (especially when I am somewhere more quiet)- almost returned but I love the way they look too much for me to. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I love these jeans! They are so cute and would look good on everyone. They fit perfectly to tr size you normally are.

I had to order 3 sizes to find the one that worked for my body - I’m usually a 6 or an 8 in AE jeans but both were too big and had to size down to a 4 - and I’ve never been a 4 in my life! Love them now that I found the right size.

The size I actually bought was a 000 Regular (I'm usually 1-2 sizes bigger), but the sizing here tends to be kinda weird sometimes. Overall the pants are comfortable and stylish

I wanted to love these but they are way too thin to be considered real corduroy. They remind me of paper- crunchy and not too soft or smooth. I loved the greenish blue color though. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I was expecting corduroy to be thicker… as it normally is. This one is very thin. Great color but kind of feel like paper.

I noticed some of the reviews claim true to size - and the other half claimed one size too small. I decided to order my regular size 12, as I'm quite familiar with AE jeans. However, I have to agree with the 1 size too small. I could still zip them up, but they were very tight and would definitely dig in and be too uncomfortable after sitting down or just wearing them for a while. Sending them back and ordered a 14 regular instead - we'll see how that size fits.

In love with the fit and color and everything but either I got an odd one or what but the zipper fabric is white and so it’s easily seen when worn. Don’t know why that would be :(

I ordered these in my regular size 16, I wear that in almost every brand. These were SO SMALL. I couldn’t even button them. I ordered an 18 instead, and they fit snug. I’m keeping them because they’re wearable, but a 20 probably would have fit me better. Everything else about them is great, they’re so cute. I also wouldn’t consider them stretch? At least none in the waist.

I am always a size 16 or XL in American eagle pants. All my jeans from AE are that size. So naturally, I ordered a 16 in these but I can’t even pull them up past my thighs!! Very disappointed.

I love the fit and look of these. The only problem is that the fabric over the zipper won't stay closed as I move around throughout the day, and the zipper is white so it's very obvious. I bought brick and green colors but the brick color runs smaller and I have to return it!!!

To look at, these pants are beautiful! Based on the reviews I read, they tend to run short, so I ordered 14Long. The length was just right. Normally an A&E size 14 is a little loose on me. But these cords in a 14 were tight in the waist, I could barely zip them up. They say they have stretch, but compared to other jeans with stretch, these do not have any give in them! I was so disappointed, I ended up returning them.

So I love the idea of these pants. I ordered the brown, and the fit was a tiny bit small but not enough to size up. The deal breaker on these pants was the noise. I read a review about the noise, and usually my thighs don’t rub, but I did a test and it was so awkward. I wish AE had more brown color pant options. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Purchased in my usual size, 4 short, and I love the fit. Just a tiny bit of stretch but enough to be comfortable (the gray color). I returned the green because they were slightly ill fitting and felt like they had no stretch. But gray for the win! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

These pants are comfortable and flattering. However, they are so LOUD! The corduroy material on the legs swipe past each other when you walk, making a very loud scritching scratching sound. Probably fine for wearing out to loud bars or events, but very noticeable and distracting in an office or quiet environment. I’m still wearing them, just doing a weird walk to try and keep the legs from rubbing…

I think these are adorable for fall. The fit is just ok, I should have ordered an x-long knowing AE pants run short. There is some gaping at the waist. The fabric is nice though. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I love these except for some reason they start to flare out at the bottoms. They’re supposed to be a straight leg. From the knee down they look nothing like they do on the model.

I absolutely loved these pants, wore them constantly since I got them. That is, until after washing them one day (and following all care instructions), they got these weird white splotches on them. Nothing I have tried has fixed the issue, so they can no longer be worn. Really bummed about it.

I am so upset these did not fit bc they are the cutest pants ever. Problem is I ordered my regular size (0) and they were massive on me. THEY FIT MY SISTER WHO IS NORMALLY A SIZE 4! A difference of 4 sizes is a little much.......

Wayyy to short, even ordering longs. If you’re over 5’9”, don’t even bother with these. On top of this, these pants fit more similar to skinny-straight jeans, so I would size up if you wanted them to fit looser. The quality of the pants don’t even make up for this, they are painfully average. Never had a problem with American Eagle pants before this, extremely disappointed.

I’m regularly a size 12 long in jeans but these pants do not even button up on me. Will buy a larger size but be aware run small.

i really wanted these pants to work and they were a lovely color, fit absolutely perfect at the waist and thighs, but unfortunately they were soooo loud when i walked. it made a really loud swishing noise no matter what i did. they also run a little short, but i personally think it’s negligible (for reference im 5’3 and order a regular length). so, if you have thicker thighs this probably won’t work bc of the swishing noise, but otherwise definitely go for it!

For the price you charge I would think you would get the size right. I purchased six pairs of your pants in a size 6 Long all colors and every pair fit different some are true to size and some are not. Your quality control is not doing there job. Now I must return some of the pants and reorder them hopefully I will get the correct size. Some size 6 Long fit like a size 4. I ordered the pants in the store. You didn’t have a size 6 I did try on a size 4 and they where to tight that’s why I ordered a size 6. Some are a true 6 and some fit like a size 5

I’m 5’9, 215 pounds and pear shaped. I got size 16 long which I expected to be a bit tight but turns out I couldn’t even close them at the waist while they fit perfectly around my legs. Unfortunate AE decided tall people stop existing after a size 16 so I can’t size up. This said even the tall size was BARELY long enough and I would have had to go up 2 sizes to a size 20 for the waist.This is consistent with my pant sizing experience at AE and I don’t have to go up to a size 20 in any other other brand, not even Asian ones. But waist sizing is so small in AE. I’m disappointed during a time other retailers try to be more size inclusive AE is doing the opposite. Guess they want 5 feet 90 pound people only.
