I like the fit of the Jeans and how it hugs the butt. Perfect on the hips and thighs it’s fits perfect and not too tight. And surprised that the length fit me perfectly.

I typically wear a size 16 in AE or other brands but was so glad i read the reviews on this before buying. Ended up going two sizes bigger to a 20 reg. There's almost no stretch but description does say so it eas expected. The only thing was I'm short (4'11) and the 20 short was out of stock and the regular was just a bit long for me , so will have to get it altered. The waistband says comfort stretch but not exactly sure what that means. Pants fit well everywhere else on the legs besides the waistband. There was a pretty big gap when sitting bewtween my waist and the band. Overall, great color and quality of the jeans. Only thing is runs small so definitely size up one or two sizes and the gap in the back of the pants when sitting.#AEReviewSweepsEntry

I absolutely love the wash and style of this jean, and I was so excited when it came in! The color looks better/lighter in person, and the wide leg was exactly what I wanted/was expecting. The length was also exactly what I was expecting. However, when I tried it on I was surprised to find that it was way too big on me. I will definitely be exchanging it for a 00 short, or maybe even a 000 short after seeing how huge it was on me.

Usually AE jeans run a little big on me; but these seem true to size. I was hoping the ride would be a tad bit higher, but they are still nice. Very sturdy. No stretch in the legs, but stretch in the waist which is helpful. I’ve been wearing them for about an hour and they are stretching a bit which I was hoping for. They are also longer than I wanted, but actually look pretty cute rolled up. I might buy the Short version for options. I’m 5’4” (115lbs) and ordered a 0 Regular.

Loved the jeans back in the day so I ordered a 12 regular which I always get in my jeans and I couldn't get them over my thighs. Guess it's back to my mom jeans.

i wanted to try a new style of jeans so i ordered these and i sized up like the reviews said. however, they were still a tight squeeze and they barely reached the bottom of my belly button?? maybe i'm just used to the "super high-rise" fit but these seem very much mid-rise. overall very unflattering look for me #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I'm looking for a specific wide leg fit. These jeans may just be slightly stiff to drape well but perhaps a wash will do the trick in softening it up. I'm usually a size 4 in AE denim. I bought my usual size despite reviews saying it runs small. The waist fit fine but overall it was slightly big in the hip and leg area. It gave me a flat behind image. Maybe I'll shrink it up a bit in the dryer. It is comfortable and I would probably keep it but the zipper fly area has a very out of place acid wash. The rest of the denim is pale blue. The length is just 1-2inches too long despite getting the short size. An xshort size mightve been nice. But I bought their platform sneakers and it paired perfectly with the jeans. Very cute, but I'm short and the wide leg makes me look both tall and a bit stumpy at the same time.

The Ice Blue wash of these jeans is a great look for warm weather, and the denim is not too heavy...However, I wish I'd paid more attention to the reviews: the rise is lower than I expected, and the fit is definitely smaller than a normal size 2 (I take a 2 in virtually every style I've ever ordered, and never a problem with the size until now!) They are pretty snug in the hip area! Even the length is just short of what I'd like in a Long. They do look good, but the usual comfort is lacking...

I ordered size 12 short as a 5'3" woman with 31" waist. The waist fit great, however the fabric bunched around the crotch area and gave me a camel toe :( I also think the short size is not really short enough for 5'3" -- was hoping for an ankle fit and these were past the ankles. The wash and construction is so cute though so I'm slightly disappointed.

I definitely like the look of the pants on me, but its small and not comfortable. I originally order 2 Short, but it was too tight, so I ordered up one size. It was alright, but still tight around my front and back. I read other reviews right after and others are right that this is definitely small and, depending on your body type, size up or two sizes up. The Short length was good for me, but its just very uncomfortable that its super tight. Unfortunately, I'm returning and not going to try going for the pants anymore.

These jeans are cute and comfortable but it's a good thing I tried them on in stores. I ended up getting a size 14 and I usually wear a size 10 in AE jeans.

Too much loose fabric bellow the butt, 2 regular is too short. I am 5'6'', 114 lbs. Returned it and got a 2 long. Not as comfortable as the wide leg jeans they used to have.

These looked like they would be the perfect jeans that I've been searching for; wide leg, lighter wash, available in long...Super bummed though, I'm 5'10' and the long is still too short. I'd love for it to be about two inches longer, id keep them even if they were an inch longer because I like other things about them. They do have a weird light colored line down them (zoom in) like in the picture that I wish wasn't there.

These ran small in my opinion..... a dad jean isn't to be snug.. They are a lower rise pant and I was hoping they'd be higher. The length was ok.. but with an air force on they seemed a bit short. For refernce I'm a 23 waist in a high rise pant.... a 25/25 waist, 5'5 and I'd get a 2L to be happy.

I have another pair of wife leg jeans from AE and adore them. However, they don’t make the style anymore, so I was excited to see these. When I received the jeans, I immediately noticed that the denim is thinner and not as nice as my other jeans. When I tried them on, it was hard to pull them up since they have no stretch. I do think these run a bit small. The rise on these are very uncomfortable and are leaning towards a low rise. Also, I’m disappointed that AE tries to be inclusive but has been getting less and less as time passes. I am definitely an XShort but I have been unable to find them, so I settled for a short which is just too long. Pretty disappointed, but I’ll keep them because I like the wide leg. Not my go-to.

I normally wear a size 6 but these ran small for me I could barley get them over my hips. If you have larger hips or are more curvy I would recommend sizing up.

These are super cute jeans and I desperately wanted to love them but it just isn't working. I ordered a size up bc I noted they were no stretch (hello 94% cotton) and they're still incredibly tight. The cut and fabric are amazing but the fit is very 90s in the sense that I felt horrible about my body (lol). Might try a size up. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I wear a size 8 or 10 in the other jeans from American Eagle. I wanted a loose fit. The jeans couldnt zip up. It flattened my butt completely. Worst jeans I have ever bought and I really really wanted a pair of 90s jeans. It was so small I felt I would have to get a size 18 or 20. Which is insane since I am a size 8. I do not understand why the sizing is so off with this brand. If you are curvy, have a butt , tummy or thighs. These jeans are for you. They will diminish all of your curves.

I followed the other reviews' advice and ordered a size up (I'm usually between a 6 Short and an 8 short in AE jeans), but these jeans are way too small. I'm disappointed because these jeans are super cute but I don't feel like guessing which size I am because AE decided they wanted to make their jeans smaller.

i normally order the curvy jeans and the super high waisted jeans but wanted to branch out. in those sizes im normally a size 14 and theyre super comfy! i figured since these are a different cut the sizing would be different. according to the size chart with 44' hips i should be in a size 18 (annoying but whatever) i go to try them on, and i cant even get them over my hips. i wish ae could make their other style of jeans accesible to the curvy girls as well!

Bought these a size smaller - they fit. Wanted a baggier look as there is no give (no stretch) . Got the next size up and they are SMALLER! so weird could not even button them. The size 10 fit - the size 12 couldn't even button. Go figure. Try them on in store, I do not recommend buying no stretch jeans online. Will obviously be returning.

The jeans are beautiful but I had to buy it 3 sizes bigger than my usual size.

I wanted a baggy fit so I sized up to 14, I also got size 16 because of a curvy girl review said they run small. 14 should be baggy and I couldn’t pull them over my hips! The 16 did up but look weird. Better on a girl without shape. Regardless the sizing is WAY off from their regular sizing.

I have ALWAYS worn a size 16 at American eagle but these didn’t even go all the way up my legs. Returning them tomorrow. Not worth $80 (I even bought them off the sale rack!)

I'm normally an 8 short in all my jeans I buy from here. When I ordered these the first time I could not get them over my butt, so I exchanged them for a size up, same issue. Needless to say I will not be buying these from here again

Nothing good about the fit of these jeans too short and fit really small sorry just not a good buy !! I would have to but 3 sixes up to fit !!

I’m consistently a size 18 at American eagle in jeans and these were way to small. I can hardly get the button done up and no way the zipper would go up. Although the button did do up I couldn’t even sit in these! American eagles sizing for jeans seems to be getting smaller and smaller
