I am 5ft tall and I order short length on all Aerie bottoms. They always are the perfect length for me as a petite person. Initially, I ordered a size 2 short and the length was perfect but the waist and legs were just too loose. I later reordered for a size 0 short and then the waist fit perfectly. It's flattering on the butt and has enough rips to be stylish but not too many to look tattered and unclassy. The best part: I don't have to get them hemmed! My only qualm is that the jeans run big and I had to go through the trouble of returning one pair (maybe I'm just lazy). I'm almost always a size 2-4 in all brands but I learned that American Eagle jeans just run big in comparison to Aerie.

NEW FAVORITE MOM JEANS!

I've been on the search for a nice pair of blue mom jeans and I couldn't find any because they all gave off a grandma aesthetic until I found these. They're perfect! They're soft and comfortable. I got them in 8 long because most mom jeans are shorter than I like. They're a little big in the waist but after washing them they fit a lot better.
