AE High-Waisted Artist® Flare Jean

I'm obsessed with the jeans. I ordered a size 16 and 18 regular because people were saying they run small. In my opinion the are perfect in the 16. I'm keeping the 18 because they are running out of these jeans fast. I just ordered a 16 short for flip flops. AE please, please, PLEASE keep these in stock and add mor colors!!!!!!!

I love my new flare especially the color I really enjoy that dark color. I had been waiting for them to stock them in my size and finally got them. Recommend for going out.

I haven’t worn flare jeans in quite a while and was glad to find a pair that was high waisted and tight in the thigh. The fit of these jeans has both. They are a bit long for an extra short length as you can see in the pictures. I am 5’0” and will have to hem them as they drag the ground. They have a lot of stretch and I find a belt is necessary to keep from having to pull them up.

OMG please please keep these jeans permanently!!! These are my absolute favorite jeans ever and the ONLY ones i will wear. They are super comfortable, and never get baggy. Please never get rid of these jeans!

I have always loved the artist fit for years and now with the high rise fit! A match made in heaven. I absolutely love these Jean's and would be happy to almost wear nothing else. Best flattering fit for all!

These couldn't have a more perfect fit (esp. on the booty!), although the flare is more like a boot cut and isn't as big as what's found on AE's low-rise flares. I'm 5 ft. 3 in./106 lbs./24.5" waist/33" hips, and I ordered a 0 Regular instead of my usual 00 Short based on some of the reviews. The hem just barely grazes the floor, so I'm glad I purchased the regular length given my longish legs. I can wear them with flats or heels. (If you're 5 ft. 4 in. or taller with long legs, you might want to consider the long length if you intend to wear them with heeled shoes.) The rise is more like a high mid-rise rather than a true high-rise, at least compared to some of AE's other high-rise styles. They still stay up just fine though, and I don't feel the need to tug on them frequently, unlike my low-rise AE flares. The fabric color is beautiful too, and it's perfect for dressing up or down. I might even need to snag another pair! :)

Like others have said, these are my favorite ae style. I wear ae almost exclusively and pounced when I saw this style back in stock. I'd say it is more of a generous bootcut than a wide flare. Love that is is neither distressed nor does it have that chemical odor that plagues some dark washes. Listened to reviews and went up one size, then returned for the short length. I am 5'3", 126 lbs and am usually a 6 REG in ae... AE KEEP THESE PERMAMENT PLEASE!

Im 5'3. 140 lbs. Size 6 reg. is perfect for me. I wear them with cowgirl boots and it works out great. These jeans are perfect and are very flattering.

I was hesitant about ordering these jeans but I am so glad that I did!! They fit in all the right places and I love a high rise in a flare jean!! Definitely will be ordering another pair!

These are my favorite Jean's! They fit great and the look nice also. I came on to order more and seen that a bunch of sizes are out of stock... I really hope you aren't discontinuing this style.

These jeans are very comfy! I’ve bought jeans from other retailers in the past that were high waisted that just did not have the best fit (they’d get baggy throughout the day, just a mismatch in sizing throughout, etc) but these were perfect. If you don’t feel comfortable with a snug fit in the waist area, you could size up. However, I felt that the snug fit assisted in the integrity of the fitted high waisted style. The jeans were just slightly longer than expected, but not to a point where I’d have to get them tailored. I am a bit shorter than most. Buy these jeans!!!!!

The size is true to fit, i love them. Flare jeans are coming back into style, and i recieved a lot of compliments the day i wore them. I already have long legs but the jeans excentuate your curves and make your legs look longer. Great purchase.

I am 5”2 and 160lbs and ordered a size 12 x short in these flare jeans. I took the advice from other reviews and ordered up one size and very glad I did. They fit perfect and look amazing!

It was softer and stretchier than I imagined they would be. Great fit and comfortable more importantly.

These pants are the perfect rise. They run a little smaller than other AE pants. I usually order an 8 Long but got a 10 Long as some other reviewers recommended. Depending on style, I go between Long and X'Long. I'm glad I went with Long because these fit me more like the X Long do. I hate low rise jeans and usually can't find anything with a high rise other than skinny jeans. Definitely recommend and hope they keep these. Going to order the other color soon as I can!

I love these jeans! They are high waisted, but not drastically so. The rear pockets are very well placed. Like other reviewers have said, definitely go up one size. I tried my regular size and they were definitely a squeeze!

Let me start by saying that I THOUGHT I was sizing up to give myself a little more room in the waistband, but these actually fit perfectly. I have ordered extra-longs in the past that are longer than these, but I'm in love with the way these fit. I could get away with LONGS, but I order extra-longs so that I can wear them with boots. I am 5'10 165lbs and these jeans fit me like a glove. And they are the PERFECT color denim in my opinion & just the right amount of flare in the leg!

High waisted flare jeans are hard to come by these days but it’s such a classic look with some heels. So happy ae made these. Cute, comfortable, practical, need I say more?

They are high-rise I like jeans to be around my waist they are true to size for me I like my jeans to be snug so they don't go anywhere and I am 5 10 and extra long was perfect I love American Eagle and I always come back for more

i only wear size 2-reg and these jeans fit super great and i only wear AE jeans and hollister is not recommended in jeans and i recommenced AE brand because there jeans our made well
