Perfect pair of jeans

Love this pair of jeans so much!! I have big calves so putting on body fitting jeans (and sometimes even bootcut) is always a struggle. The flare on this pair of jeans is very wide and has slits, which helps provide a plenty of space for my calves. I was a little worried that the flare would look too ridiculous on me, but it’s actually quite flattering. The rise is as expected. Not too low (won’t reveal my butt when I crouch) and definitely sit below my belly button.
I ordered size 4 based on the size chart on the website, and the fit is perfect. The inseam is a little bit on the long side. Even though I ordered Short, I need to wear platform shoes not to drag the hem on the ground. That is totally fine for me because I like wearing platforms, but just be aware if you only wear flat shoes.

I love everything about these jeans. I love that they are a bit longer than I expected, because even the longs are quite long enough for me. I was guessing on what size I needed. The 6 long is good, but slightly bigger than I need, so I’ve already ordered the 4 longs. So now I’ll have 2 pairs!! 🤗

These jeans are it for me, I’m tall and I have a big ole booty!! They are midrise for those of us from the actual 90’s, they’re not low low like we had, they actually cover our booty unlike our low rise back then. I have been waiting for flare, bootleg, and baggy to come back and AE has done the new tread well! I have prob bought 20 pair of jeans over the last year!! I was never a fan of skinny jeans, so if you’re looking for jeans that are reminiscent of the 90’s-2000’s , American eagle has done it right! These jeans have good stretch, length is great for us tall girls, I didn’t have to get xlong. The slit style I could have done without But I’m willing to have because the rest of the Jean is perfect! Don’t hesitate just buy them… it’s worth it! I would buy the darker Jean, but it is different from this one and I don’t particularly like that style with the skinny waist band.

I went back and forth on ordering these jeans. I mean, I’m 43 years old. Do I need to wear the jeans I wore in high school? Probably not. But I decided to do it anyway. I was hesitant about the skinny waistband. I’m very short waisted, so I was worried where the rise would hit. The button placket is a bit odd, but sits flat and comfortably. Turns out, these are the perfect pair of jeans for this 90s kid. The fit and stretch is amazing!! I love the short inseam. It’s perfect for my stubby little legs. AE jeans are my favorite. They always fit just right!

these are soo cute but the only thing is is that they are a lot darker than how they seem on the picture but i saw on the tag that the color varies so it might just be mine but these are also really long im 5’4 and i got the regular and they reach all the way to the ball of my foot so yeah im also 152lb if that helps!

I shouldve I got "short" instead of "regular"
The waist size was a smidgen looser then I wouldve preferred, but fit. I wasn't pulling them up constantly or anything like that.
I could've taken them off and returned them, but I loved them so much, I couldn't wait to wear them...so I didnt. I wore them with fairly high heeled boots and they were still too long. Oh, just for reference, I am 5'4 & 130ish lbs.
I ordered another pair, "short". I'll wear the "regular" ones when I'm wearing super high heels.
I Can't wait to get the 2nd pair.
They are so comfy, stretch, I absolutely love the look.
