AE Floral Button-Front Mini Dress

I'm roughly 5 ft. 3 in./130 lbs., and a small fits perfectly! I sized down based on some of the reviews. The small is flowy but not overly so. A medium definitely would have been too large! I also love how the dress is lined. It would be great if AE offered this dress in solid colors as well. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

this dress is so cute for warmer weather, but also looks adorable layered! it’s definitely roomy and the length hits me right above my knees. i would recommend sizing down especially since the dress doesn’t have a shape and the string on the top isn’t adjustable. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I ordered the black and oh my gosh it really is so pretty. I’m 5’ 4’’ tall and the length is perfect. I’m really fond of the material it’s very lightweight and although it’s lined inside with a second layer it seems breathable. That being said I will say it definitely isn’t the most figure flattering dress I’ve owned. It’s very loose fitting and doesn’t have much of a real shape to it. I ordered my usual size small and personally feel like sizing down isn’t something that would change the way it fits. So if you’re looking for something form fitting, definitely not for you. But if loose and flowy is your thing I say go for it because it’s such a cute print that I can’t bring myself to return and I do think I’ll wear it pretty often actually. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

This definitely runs large. There are fist fulls of extra fabric. I generally get a size large but I wonder if I would even be happy with a medium. And I dont like a body con dress.

I took off a star because the buttons don’t open, only a few at the bottom. Material is a natural cotton feel. It is lined. Very roomy, I am between S-M in ae and got S, it fits like on the model. I do wish the top unbuttoned so I could give it a more casual look, but it is overall a sweet little dress. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

This dress just fits weirdly on me. The shoulders, chest, and stomach area are fine but it is strangely tight around my thighs which makes the holes between the buttons gape and you can see my underwear. Not sure if I'm ever gonna wear it, maybe if I wear biker shorts underneath. If you have wider hips and bigger/muscular thighs, this may not be the dress for you.

I'm a curvier girl at 183 lbs and 5'5". While I can usually get away with an L from AE, I ordered the XL based on the size chart (waist is 35") because it didn't seem like there was any stretch to the fabric and I wanted something a bit relaxed for a beach vacation. Unfortunately I was swimming in it. If I wanted it drapey I could size down to an L and I might even be able to get away with a fitted M. I'm also super short in the shoulders and the straps would not stay up. The front of the dress hit me just above the top of my bra. It's going to be a return.
