This dress is SO cute and comfortable! It does have a cute "poof" to the bottom and it hugs the chest pretty tightly but not uncomfortably, so for me, it was a great fit. For reference, I wear a size 34D if that helps! I got a small since I'm 4'10" and it fell right above my knees.

I was hesitant since it seemed that the general consensus was that most AE dress are short, but I decided to try this one and was pleasantly surprised. I'm kind of short and didn't want too mini of a dress so got the regular sized versus the tall and petite options and worked out perfect for me! Just hitting above the knee. I had read in a different review that it's kind of hard to get over the head and I agree with that person but only because this dress isn't stretchy at the waist. This would be the only issue. But once you get it over its good! It's such a fun fluffy dress! It makes me feel like a cute little mushroom lol. Overall loved the purchase and can't wait to wear the dress out and use cute shirts under.

Comfy, soft, very versatile

I am so excited to layer with this--it looks cute over short sleeves or long! It does fit slightly oversized since it is a babydoll style, so I went with a medium (I'm between medium and large, usually) and I got a Tall to make sure it was long enough for my torso. It fit just how I wanted it to. It hits right above the knee, so I can wear with tights but it's not indecent if I don't :) so I highly recommend getting a Tall if you are worried about it being too short!

I love this dress! It is perfect for the holidays and I didn't expect to be able to pull it off. It is a tad roomier which is okay. Perfect to be paired with a black under long sleeve shirt and black tights for the perfect holiday look. 10/10 recommend. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Great Autumn dress! However the fit is a bit boxy, my build is a bit stockier so it's not an issue. But if you're petite I'd suggest sizing down.

Extremely adorable! Fits true to size with room for a turtleneck underneath. Can't wait to wear this this winter. I am petite but got the regular length for a longer look. It hits a little below my mid thigh.

I love this dress! I’m 5’1” and curvy and I purchased a tall small (I wanted it to hit a little above my knees). The length was perfect for my short frame and the dress is super versatile.
