AE Ripped Super High-Waisted Flare Jean

Very soft and comfy. They fit true to size. The style reminds me of High School days in the 90's.

I was expecting a little bit of a higher rise but other than that I’d say these are 10 out of 10. I love the amount of flare and the way they fit me. I’m new to buying flares so I don’t know if I am one to judge.

I love these jeans just wish they were a bit longer. I wear them with my running shoes so they are okay felt if I got the long in these they would be too long.

My mom bought this for me im 13 lol but original im a size regular 4, height 4'11 but this was s little big on me so i changed it to a regular 0

I love the length and the color of these jeans! I'm also loving the somewhat frayed bottom and the rip over the knee! I just got into the flare/bell bottom pants style so I don't know if I'm one to judge but I would have loved for there to be a higher waist on these! Other than that I absolutely love these pants and the look they add to my closet/outfits and I will definitely be recommending these pants and this store!

I’m so happy flare jeans are coming back and love this style! I ordered 8R because 8L was not available because if you’re like me, even the slightest flooding is unacceptable. But I ended up keeping these because they’re the right length for flats, but definitely get the Long version if you want them to come to the ground in heels!

I love these jeans! I’ve been looking for a pair of flares for a while now and these were just about perfect. Super comfy and stretchy, great vintage wash, and the rip is perfectly over my knee, which rarely happens. They are a little lower in the waist that I would have ideally liked and I wish the stretch gave a little bit more support in the stomach area, but besides that, a perfect fit!

I would give this 5 stars if it had stretch. I got my size and it’s still tighter than I expected. It’s not tight enough for me to return it, but I wish they were stretchy. I buy all my jeans from American eagle and I always get curvy. I wish they sold the flare jeans in a curvy size, or maybe they already do and I didn’t see. I always buy curvy jeans so that’s probably why I was expecting these jeans to have stretch, but these jeans have barely any stretch. They are flattering but if they came in a curvy size or if they were more stretchy they would fit so perfectly! I also got them in a short size and they still seemed to drag on the floor a bit. If you get these jeans and you have a curvy body and carry your weight in your thighs and hips like I do, I’d recommend to get your actual size, possibly size up, or wait and see if they make a curvy size

These jeans are amazing if you can handle the super high waste. I'd prefer them not as high, but there so comfy and cute there worth it! They fit perfect and do the perfect flare coverage over my bumpers.

These jeans are very comfortable and stretchy. I was able to size down but since I am so short I wish these came in X-short. I will keep them hemmed.

The fit of these jeans on the waist and booty were phenomenal and very comfortable! Be fully prepared that these are F-L-A-R-E-D and not subtlety. If you are 5’0” and under I would recommend getting X-Short length. I am 4’10” and ordered the “regular” Short length and they were about 2-3 inches too long for my preference. I only ever get my flared jeans here. The jegging material is makes them very comfortable. They are true to size so I would get you regular size.

These jeans fit very well in the waits and hips and we’re incredibly comfortable. They were slightly longer than other pants I have purchased from here.

I love the fitting and shape but it is too long , but looks good with heels.

Wish I would have gotten a smaller size, they are too big and little short. I’m upset that I am unable to exchange them

Love these. Really comfortable. Pant legs do get loose around the thigh after wearing a few times but still look super cute. Style comes close to what I wore in the 90s.

So glad flares are back! I ended up ordering a second pair at the “long” length because the regular ended up shrinking length-wise in the wash. I like my flares to cover most of my feet, not hover above them. But I wore them for errands last week and ended up keeping them on all day at home because they’re crazy comfortable. The “super high waist” is perfect and doesn’t come up to my boobs like I feared.

I’m always looking for a nice pair of flare jeans. I’m very glad I found these! I’m hoping AE comes out with more. The only downside to these jeans is that the legs are pretty stretched out below the knee. Not even the dryer will tighten them up. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I have been Waiting for flare jeans Forever!finally found this in store however was too short. It fits very well but the distress part is a bit bigger than O would have expected. Overall not too bad. I will love this in a darker wash

PSA: Flair leg & Skater jeans are not supposed to fit like jeggings or skinny jeans lengthwise. They are supposed to be longer, touching the ground when barefoot or when worn with flats/sandals/flip flops & are not made to fit like high waters (cropped flairs). Please, for people who don't know how to wear flair leg or skater jeans correctly, buy a length that goes down past your ankles and even (gasp!) touches the floor. This way, when you wear shoes/heels/sandals, you don't look like you're wearing Steve Urkel's pants or a really bad pair of high waters (aka: pants way too short in length. They will hang above your barefoot or ankle and aren't flush with the ground when barefoot, or are an inch or 2 longer so they can be worn with tennis shoes, heels, etc.) Skater jeans & then flair leg jeans were all we wore back in the late 90s & 2000s (junior high, high school & college) so please, trust me on this one, the length is supposed to go down to the floor. AE please consider making some true low rise jeans like back in the day for those of us who don't wear high waisted pants. It does look cute on some ppl, but I've never been able to stand high rise jeans or leggings. #AEReviewSweepsEntry
