AE Ripped Super High-Waisted Baggy Wide-Leg Jean

We stopped into AE to take a look- first of all, we were assisted by 2 amazing sales people - so kind and friendly and so helpful. Next, these skater jeans are my daughter’s favorite new jeans. We had two of the holes patched up at the upper thigh (my daughter is only 12). But the jeans are cute and comfortable. We’ll definitely be back for more shopping at this location.

I love these pants. I wore them for the first time and got so many compliments. I’m 5’5” and the length is perfect. They aren’t as high rise as some of my other jeans but they come to about mid belly button. Anyway. You need them. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I’ve been searching for a good pair of skater jeans for a while now. I’ve read and seen reviews from other site on the sizing and material and how not everyone was happy with the quality or price. I finally came across these jeans; and I finally found love. I ordered these ASAP since I knew they would go out of style, and when they came a couple days later, I couldn’t be more happier. I love the fit and the short length, since I get short since I’m short. I hope to wear these more in the fall or late summer, but I want people to know if you are looking for snazzy and stylish jeans, these are amazing and highly agree.

I LOVE THESE JEANS. 10/10 from me. I am 5'7.5 ft and I weigh around 142lbs. These jeans fit me perfectly and go all the way down to my ankles! These fit really well, but I ordered a 4 short (I’m typically a 0 or 2 in other brands).

looks so good but washing and drying them can be a pain because of the rips. i used a mesh bag

I love that these have no stretch, but the waist is a bit tight, I even went up a size, and they are not a super high waist, more like a mid waist, so they do run small, but the rips and color I love!

I love this style of pants! I always get so many compliments when I wear these out :)

#AEReviewSweepsEntry AE has done it again: These are an amazing option for my short people out there! I am 5’ 1”, and historically I’ve had a hard time finding cute jeans that don’t gap at the waist or drag on the floor. The short option fixes the drag, and the rise is perfect: not too high, but not incredibly low. The one thing I’d change is that they are slightly tight in the front, so maybe don’t wear these to Thanksgiving! Other than that, I highly recommend these jeans for anyone who is looking to hop on the trend, but needs to fit their body type!

I love love love these jeans! I usually wear a 12 reg here but the fit was a little tighter than I’d like in the waist. So I went ahead and ordered a size up!

I originally ordered a smaller size, but the waist is super small. I feel AE has changed their sizing. I bought another style of jeans same size and they were too big.

I bought a size 8 shirt and had to return for a size 6 and had to return again for a size 4!! They are really cute and comfortable.

they’re quite flattering and cute!! it fits true to size in the waist but the legs are really baggy (i like it), the material was a little thinner than i expected though… they were also kinda long so i did end up hemming them about an inch.

These jeans were everything I hoped they would be!! They are a loose fitting jean so if you don’t have curves you might want to size down.. I highly recommend this purchase

I usually order 00 regular and this was probably the first pair that’s tight in the thigh area that causes the length to shorten. It does look cute but I wish I got a size larger. Still recommend it!

These are cute and comfy but made with thin jean material very flimsy

Super cute a bit too long for the short size. Have to return because they give you the meanest camel toe.

The only problem is they are really really thin soft material, not at all like the other AE jeans. We will be retiring them.

I am 5.5 weight 135 pounds. Size 4 is tight but it fits. Size 6 was a bit loose. I love the design, but it seems the fabric is weak, thus the part that are already ripped, ripped even more. I do not like that. I may call the company to ask for an exchange. I gave 3 stars because I loved the style and fitting, but not the fabric.

These are not true to size I am a true 8 and sometimes even a 6 in American Eagle jeans and shorts and I got these in an 8 and could barely button them. Sizing up will make zero sense because they will just be huge everywhere else like the legs and behind. This really stinks cause I love these but I am not Sizing up :(

I don't love them,but i don't hate them. The fabric is very thin and the length of them is quite long. I also had to size up quite a bit

My friends swear by these jeans so I was super excited to get my pair, but I was a bit disappointed once they came in and I tried them on. I'm normally a size 10-12, but I sized up to a 14 after reading some reviews, and even then there's still not any give along the waistline. Also, I noticed that depending on how you adjust them, they can be pretty unflattering along the crotch region, so buyer beware of that! I am hoping they'll grow on me, since I'm normally used to Mom jeans, but for a first impression I wasn't super thrilled. Hoping if I wear them a few times they'll grow on me!

Would work if I were 5 inches taller and 50 pounds lighter lol! I don’t get why when you make these pants in larger sizes they can’t make the bottoms normal.. ya know?

These jeans are comfortable..but won't last long. They are paper thin, the holes are huge with no re-enforcement like other jeans with holes from AE. Already had to buy a new pair. First day wearing them..the hole on the thigh got caught on a park bench and ripped all the way open..and the knee hole ripped open from walking way too much. They are also sized odd. 10 regular fits me but was a bit long, so I ordered a 10 short..in theory they should have fit the same only shorter..the waist was four inches smaller. Had to return and get a 12 short. Those are the ones that then got caught and ripped open. Please be careful, because they are baggy, with holes and loose threads, a bit dangerous.

They are thinner then expected, but still good quality! Would be nice for the spring/summer months. If your unsure between two sizes, size up! Unfortunately they don't have much stretch.
