I am 5’3” 120lbs and bought the size 2. They are absolutely perfect! I was looking for a high waisted pair of jean shorts and these hit right at my belly button. They are long enough to cover my butt, I’m a mom I need to be able to comfortably bend over, but not too long that I look like a mom lol. These are exactly what I was looking for and I can’t wait to wear them everywhere this summer!

I actually do really like these shorts but I had to order them in a couple different sizes. I’m typically a 6 in jeans but the waist in these was tight so had to size up. Definitely keep that in mind. But I love the length and the color. Would purchase again. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I agree with a lot of the other reviews, you definitely need to size up. I actually compared my normal size to other AE shorts that I’ve previously purchased and there’s a significant difference in the waist. These are just cut smaller. Once I found my correct size, they fit perfectly. The denim is soft and they’re very comfortable. I like that they’re a bit looser around the thighs. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Not as dark as pictured

The fit of these is as expected. My only complaint is that they are not the color pictured. They are more of a medium wash (see picture of them next to AE dark wash jeans).
