AE Flex Soft Twill Slim Pant

AE 5-pocket pants are a go-to for me. They’re comfortable, with the right amount of stretch, and they work for the office or dinner and drinks or the weekend. Great pants at a good price.

The buttons, the pockets, the fit is amazing. I have been looking for a pair of pants that doesn't have the fancy styles and cuts and isn't made out of cheap stretchy jean fabric. I practically only wear these now. Oh, and there are USEABLE, PERFECTLY SIZED POCKETS! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

These have been great, they wear like jeans and look like Khakis. I’ve owned them for 4 years and the pocket has ripped and given out. I feel like that’s still a great amount of time for 2+ days a week for 4 years. Will buy again.

Nice pants for the price but I had to buy two waist sizes larger to accommodate the difference in fabric flexibility.

These pants are really nice, but the color makes a difference when it comes to sizing. I ordered the same size in the khaki and charcoal color. The khaki fit fine, but the charcoal was so tight he could barely button them. I was inconvenienced to drive all the way to the store to return.

So, I exclusively wear American Eagle 5-pocket pants for work. After an unfortunate incident, my grey ones needed to be retired, so I ordered these. They are WAY tighter than the other Slim 5-Pocket Pants I have. These fit much more like the Skinny 5-Pocket pants I have. Everything else about them is great, but they don’t fit like other AEO Slim pants/jeans. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I thought they were very handsome pants and would look great on my grandson, but he did not like the color. On the other hand the blue jeans I bought he loved. Just goes to show grandma has good taste, but grandson is just a boot and jeans man!

Fits well, not too loose and not too skinny. After a few washes the jeans will start to appear vintage with an ashy tone but will remain black in color and new in look. Overall great purchase and I would recommend. Pants are flexible and made of good material. The pants fit true to size also so you won’t have to size up or size down. I have to say the fit is awesome, but I bought them online and unfortunately the color isn’t even close to what’s shown online much more of a green tan than the picture show, so I was quite disappointed when I got them. Buyer beware!

I really like these pants, they fit well, they're super comfortable and so far, they wear well. The only reason I give these particular pants 3 stars out of 5, is because the color of these pants leans into the green color spectrum. I have a pair of these that I bought a few years ago which I love but I dropped glue on them so they are now relegated to tool-around pants. I wanted to get a pair (I got two instead) to be able to go about town without looking like a slob. The colors are wildly different. My original look is exactly like AE's pictures on the site... Khaki, dune, whatever you want to call it. What I got was on the greenish side, a military green, but lighter, faded, nothing like the pictures. I checked the site again to see if maybe I inadvertently ordered the wrong color. AE only carries black, grey, and this supposed khaki. Pretty disappointed.

Loved the look of these pants online and AE always has my size (32 x 36). I've had a few pairs of slim fit pants and jeans from AE and they fit nicely on my tall and thin frame, but these were much tighter and had a lot more stretch than I thought they would. They're more like skinny fit. Got a great price online so I'm disappointed that I had to return them.

I purchased two pairs of these. They fit and feel great. However, both pockets in both pairs ripped out for seemingly no reason. I contacted AE via email and they gave me the run a round. Not sure I'll buy anything from them again.

The pockets on these jeans just dont last, i have at least 4 or 5 pairs that are still in great condition but i can no longer use because the pockets are ripped out from normal use. Please use better quality stitching/pockets!!

I thought these pants were great and bought two pairs in different colors. Less than a year later the pockets in both pants began to shred apart, practically disintegrating. Perfectly good pants but the ruined pockets make them useless even after multiple attempts to repair the holes. The fabric continues to tear in new places uncontrollably.

The 34x30 athletic jeans fit perfect but these just vacuum sealed my thighs. Please make an Athletic cut pant.

I went to your Polaris mall location with my son to try on these pants in the athletic fit and slim fit. Your store only Had up to waist size 38 n every style pant in store. So we had no choice but to order on line. Please carry all sizes in your store

Ae doesn't know how to make slim pants, I consider myself skinny and wanted a pair of pants that is a little loose so I ordered these slim pants, they turned out to be too tight and uncomfortable.
