These fit differently than previous seasons Not slim... these are youth pastor skinny. For reference, 30X36 6’4” 170 pounds

leg opening is actually slimmer than 14.5''. Too tight when compared with other AE slim straight pants.

The khakis I bought aren't quite what I was looking for I wear a 38/34 and they fit the the waist just fine but just don't like that they hug the thighs and calves a bit too much. I think with daily wear they will stretch out a bit.

I really enjoyed the fit and look of these pants, but after a couple months of wear both front pockets ripped out of the pants on the same day. I have AE jeans I've worn for years without anything like this happening, so no idea what is up with these pants. Judging by other reviews they have a tendency to rip, so be careful if you pick these up I guess.

They fit fine in the waist and seem like they'd be comfortable but the legs are hilariously wide at the bottom. Just because I'm heavier does not mean my legs are big all the way down and I'd have to have a lot of adjustments done to make them wearable in a way that doesn't look ridiculous. Also short fat people exist so it would be nice if the inseam sizing started at 28 for the bigger waist sizes too.

I bought these pants (or at least a very similar version) years ago and they were awesome. Soft and a bit stretchy. But then they wore out and I bought a new pair. But they must have changed the material because these ones were not as stretchy and soft. They were poorly made as the back of the pants ripped after a couple months. Just recently the front pocket completely ripped so now I have to throw them away. Seems like this is a common issue with these. Definitely find better pants than these…

I have been wearing AE slim straight jeans for years. These pants were much tighter and closer to skinny jeans than slim straight.

Spent over 50 bucks on these pants for my son. Less than 4 months later, they are ripped and unfixable. The other color pair I bought of this same style ripped after about 2 weeks. Definitely not worth the cost. Cheaply made. Do NOT recommend.

Got these back in June, haven't really worn them that often. They're comfortable but they split right in half today. Right down the crack. Exposed gooch and all.

I just got these and I bought a 38x30. I’m annoyed with how they sell 28 length in smaller waist sizes but not bigger. The waist size was too big but that might’ve been my fault. I wanted to buy a bunch of pairs but they simply don’t make them for shorter people.

I've had these pants less than a week and the pocket has already torn twice. There are defects in both pockets – a straight line of lightly discolored fabric that seems to have ruined the pocket's structural integrity. The defect caused a rip in the right pocket, straight across the discolored material. I tried repairing it (sowing), but another tear appeared next to that one, I assume because of the way weight sits in the pocket after the repair was completed. The left pocket is still intact, but it has an identical line of defected material in the exact spot where the other pocket tore (they only let me upload one photo it seems, so I had to choose between showing the defect on the unripped pocket, or the tear on the other). I assume that pocket will go with time, too.

purchased at full price in store, ripped in the butt below the pocket . Loved them, don't think we can get a replacement as the particular color/style no longer offered. Very disappointed

They fit well and were very comfortable but ripped on only the second wear.
